I have just this to say about the BS being sprouted about Bale. ENOUGH ALREADY GO AWAY YOU FERAL SPANIARDS
At least one of the bits reported today is us telling them to "back off". Its only 2 letters out from what we really want Spurs to say, pretty close.
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...set-to-field-questions-on-gareth-bales-future Are you for real? I hate Marca constantly printing bullshit BUT can get over it, as it's the spanish press based in Madrid who are obviously going to be siding with Real. But Sky are making this whole situation even worse - Why is there even a news story about the fact AVB will be asked questions about Bale??? Of course he will, everyone knows he will - and he will tell them what he has before - Bale is not for sale. Getting really sick of this **** now. On the same note.... http://www1.skysports.com/football/...s-manchester-united-linked-with-transfer-move This story made me sick to my stomach about a week ago when i read it. They felt it was story worthy that Bale turned up for training after being linked with United. This says alot about players these days and the press, and possibly a lot about Bale that he's not a spoilt little brat.
I know some of you think we are in need of a creative midfielder still. Im curious as to whether you'd be interested in Cabaye? I think he's one of the better midfielders in the league and am quite surprised he's still at newcastle. If he could get past his injury problems*** I think he'd be a good signing. *** - How many times have we heard that before?
It's such a load of **** it really is. I want to ignore it but it's so difficult. Not that he should have to but I would love Bale to come out and say "I will be at Spurs next season" to put an end to this. This is going to carry on for the 5 and a half weeks. ARRRRGGGHHHH!!!
Cabaye - i would have been when we sold Modders but we are loaded up in that area now. Bale - i'm SO sick of it too. Madrid can agree as many fake contracts as they want as far as i'm concerned because unless they have a bid accepted it means diddly-squat. In fact, it would be nice to actually see this contract as i'm sure our lawyers would find it very interesting indeed. Maybe we could bully them into paying £200m or we'll put them in even more trouble with the authorities
ITV put up a story (since removed) that Bale refused to talk to Spurs TV and that was an indication that he was off to Madrid. This is the vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eslHEWsh5jQ#at=65 Wonder where Lennon is off to then? This is the ITV story, the link no longer works as its been removed: http://www.itv.com/sport/football/u...refuses-to-be-interviewed-on-spurs-channel/A/
I actually hate Madrid now. Never really liked them that much anyway but over the past couple of years with the constant tapping up of Modric and Bale, it's just completely fuelled my aggression towards them. Hope they get relegated then go into liquidation and eventually sell Ronaldo for peanuts.
I've said this before, but what really irks me is this so called "special relationship" So, how does this work then? Well, as far as I can see, it consists of Real trying to steal all our best players, and in return we get...er..well, **** all really! I mean that's really "special" isn't it!...
and it was meant to be a sweetener (for us) in the modric deal. SERIOUSLY?!?! I'd love some official comms on this relationship.
It is an especially **** relationship as far as i can seeI can't see one benefit so far for us. Levy should say "OK we will swap Bale for Ronaldo and Coentrao, deal?"
Yeah it was obvious from the start that this whole relationship was a farce. Anyone could tell it was a ploy by Madrid hoping that we'd be all lovey-dovey and give them Bale for a cut price. Similar to what we done with Internacional but difference with us was we never went to the press each day or got our players to constantly tap up the likes of Sandro or Damiao. If I were Levy, I'd deliberately ask for a higher fee from Madrid than any other side when we decide to cash in on Bale.
Thats kinda what we did to Chelsea so i can see it happening. I actually think Bayern would be the best move Bale could make so maybe next summer, or the summer after, we should start publicly saying £60m for Bayern, £90m for Real.

I'd be happy (well... Not happy but you know what I mean) to see Bale join Bayern over anyone else. They seem a very professional team and also one I enjoy watching when given the chance. Beside I think they really will become the new Barcelona of the current era. Not just because of their CL triumph but I really believe with the squad they have it'll take some going to beat them. Their midfield is unreal: Schweinsteiger Martinez Kroos Robben Ribery Gotze Thiago Muller (as wing forward/ CAM) Gustavo Every single one of those would walk into 99% of Europe's best teams.
