DRS is reportedly going to be before and after Turn One with a single detection point. TBH, with circuits like this where overtaking is ridiculous I think you should just give them DRS whenever they're one second behind and make it available at all parts of the circuit. Even if you wouldn't use it mainly outside the pit straight.
Tough call. The Mercedes will be quick in qualifying. The red bulls are always good here because of the corners and Lotus are on the up.
It's going to a scorching hot in Budapest, So Mercedes for pole but expect them to fall back big time in the race unless they can do what they did at Monaco. But I think the high temperatures will hurt them badly.
Could be 37 degrees on Sunday! Good luck to Hamilton and Rosberg in that heat, could see a lot of cars struggling in that heat particularly with the soft tyre
Unless someone suggests to them that they set the car up for the race and not just for qualifying. Maybe they don't know how to.
aargh, I'm just not sure who to go for, Kimi, Vettel or Alonso, if I still havn't voted (or it doesn't go through) my default choice is SV.
Enjoy Budapest, it's a great city to visit when the grand prix is on. Be prepared to encounter plenty of friendly Finns filled up with alcohol! I wish I was able to go this year enjoyed going in 2010 while on holiday in Central Europe.
I shall look forward to the not so local crazy folk. Should be a good weekend assuming I can find a tree and some shade to watch the GP from under
The 3 week breaks and the fact that Vettel is obviously going to win the WDC, plus the silly tyres ruining the racing has made this year less interesting to me. Chamionship wise I wish it was still as close as: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pm5Pjk8QXlM On paper it should be Mercedes on pole -> Mercedes drop out of the points in the race with Raikkonen winning
You're right. This year the unpredictables are becoming very predictable. Too many 'fixes' have fixed it proper. Somehow it all seems to be following a pre-determined plan. I wonder who planned it?
If Merc get hit by the same Tyre issues they had in Spain I can see them qualifying towards the front of the grid only to work their way down the order. Agree with some, looks like the Lotus will be the car to beat here, hence I'm going for a Kimi win, however that could be scuppered if he doesn't qualify high enough.
I've voted for Raikkonen and reckon Mercedes will struggle, so those of you who want an easy tenner, go out and put money on a Rosberg win
Backed Lewis without thinking about it. Now reading the fact that their tyres will be completely destroyed by the heat. Here's hoping they learnt loads of key information at the secret test
