If, and that's a big If, Man Utd did make a big offer, it would be perfectly reasonable for Morgan to want to accept. He is loving life at Saints, but those saying he's better with us, or he knows how important he is to us, etc, etc are thinking with red stripes glasses on.

I don't think they'd offer enough anyway, but if they did and if we accepted, he'd go and he'd go with my blessing. That young man stood by us at our lowest ebb and deserves to reach his destiny at the top if the game. I hope it is with us, but if it is with someone else, so be it.

You're right, I'd be absolutely gutted and want to punch anyone with a United shirt that I saw in the street, but proud of him at the same time. I'd be amazed if none of the big clubs had at least made a tentative enquiry based on last season. Still don't think it will happen though.

Guardian reporting that Arsenal's Suarez bid has been accepted. Interesting.

 

At least one of the big clubs must have pushed an offer on a stick through the bars of Nicola's cage. Cortese probably broke his leg trying to get at them.

 

If he joins another Premier league club, it will show what an arse hole he is. He'll claim it's all about Champions League football but its probably just because he got a big slap behind closed doors for his behaviour.

I'm not sure that has ever been a matter for debate! Who cares anyway, the Liverpool meltdown will be sooooooo much fun to watch if he goes to Arsenal that I'm hoping it happens!

 

I'm hoping this feeling of dread I've got about Morgan leaving is more me being a bedwetter than it being a logical and likely outcome.
