Colo was stupid there. Bit more discipline needed.

In other news - Fenerbahce pulled out of Caedozo deal and supposedly he's in the crowd tonight?

Hope note, if he's watching this shower it's hardly going to inspire him to sign for us <laugh>

Much improved performance this second half...didn't think I'd ever say this but Jonas has impressed me.

They all have. The passing has been fantastic in patches. Playing it out of the back too.

I have only watched the 2nd half but considering they are 'playing with fatigue' I am impressed (so far).

Typical pre season game. Good, bad and indifferent. They all look in much better shape. Hopefully Downey can get Fat Benni in good nick. A fit and firing Benni is always a bonus.

First half was awful. Different game in the second.

Not to put a dampner on things but we looked almost Barcaesque in patches in the second half vs Benfica and turned out to be complete sh**e for the rest of the season thereafter

Interesting to see a fitness monitor on Guti - and I assume the rest of the squad.
Fitness, or the lack of it, will not be an excuse come the start of the season.

Yeah it looks like the club has invested in some technology to monitor fitness. About bloody time with all the niggling injuries we pick up. Don't we have a highly rated fitness expert at the club now?

Yeah, the former England rugby union fitness coach, Faye Downey.
Below is the link to her company.

I have a feeling that that 2nd half against Benfica was the straw that broke the camel last season both mentally and physically, it seemed like we were completely drained and never really recovered for the rest of the season.

Just what we need - Someone to monitor training and fitness. The players to be fair already look a lot fitter.
