As I wrote on your thread, I feel asleep................... Theres wums and theres boring wums guess which catergory your in ???
Eldon, you missed the one shot I took but never mind. If he wants a sensible discussion then lets give him one.
Saw it and was awaiting a reply from him. A sensible discussion !!! you will be waiting a long time for that
Stump, everything you wrote in your thread has been done many times before. If you want to know our thoughts on VT and what he is doing then, by all means, read through the threads on this board. We are not going to regurgitate everything that has been said before just for your benefit. Perhaps you will understand then why we consigned your thread to the banter thread.
The only thing that'll go wrong in the next few months IMO is a panic sacking of MM if we have an absolute shocker of a start. Quite how having been invested in to get to the PL then converting all that expendititure into equity means VT has **** (spelt properly so the filter can work for those who want it to) on us we haven't worked out. If you're going to bring the shirts back up, go and read then reread the massive amount already written on this site about it. It's been done, everyone on this board almost without exception has said where they are on it. Your post was a wum and was correctly moved, not deleted by our excellent mods. CCFC is probably not worth as a PL club what VT has put in to it, the only way for him to make money from this venture is to make it bigger and better, that way it will appreciate in value and with it so will his investment. If you doubt that have a google at the amount of investment into the infrustructure of the club VT has made and is planning, those are not the actions of someone here for the short term and it's why we react with reasoned answers to the wumming about his intentions and commitment.
I agree with the Swansea guys, Vince is such a devious bastard he might even vote himself a dividend. - 'ang on a minute........................
What, and your directors haven't taken a penny out of your club have they? In fact, didn't one of your directors take more than twice as much out as he put in? That's a comment on FACT, not speculation.
Once Vincent Tan changes all the loans into equity the only way he can get that money back is to sell that equity. If Cardiff do well in the Prem that equity might increase in value if not Tan is taking the chance not Cardiff City. With Cardiff debt free and big TV payments we would hope to make a profit within a few years, then off course he could take a dividend just like the Swans board did.
Well summed up DJR - in a lot fewer words than me!!! Now where is swan-m? No sign of him since before lunch. P.S. He's not been on their board either. Siesta time maybe?
If Tan wants to take his dividends; it's fine by me. After all, you can't take dividends if the company isn't making a profit. The only way Tan is going to make his money back is by keeping Cardiff in the Premier League. I'm not complaining.
Swan-m was just a scout sent in to test the water. He's reported back and the board has adjuourned their meeting to give Dai a chance to come up with something. Dear old Stumps had a brief foray on reccy mission as well, but as yet, they haven't come up with a cunning plan. I think they need Baldrick more than Dai................. Arwr - my mention of VT voting himself a dividend was something to do with "irony" mate - cue Baldrick again.........
Or a cunning stunt maybe? Takes me back to the days we had humour on this board with Clingo, Proph et al and quotes from Python, Kenny Everett, Del Boy and many others. We used to have laughs then but now it is all so serious. The price of the Prem maybe? Eeeeeeee, when I were a lad............ P.S. Isn't irony what your missus does stood up with that funny table contraption and a bit of warm heavy metal that blows steam and hot water - while we sit back and watch the tv whilst supping a cold one?
You don't get to be a billionaire in business without a pull-out strategy, Tan would have known the costs involved with Cardiff City and will have plans to make money. Luckily his type don't look for a quick buck and will bide his time until the right offer comes along.
Pull outs, quick bucks, the right offer? Are you playing with us DJR and inserting your own brand of double entrands?
BFB, Talking of quotes put up and the humour we used to see, it was sad to see the passing of Mel Smith the other day R.I.P. Sketch that always makes me laugh was from not the nine oclock news Griff Rhys Jones talking to Mel Smith in a Gorilla suit: Is it true that when you were brought from the jungle you were wild Wild I was bloody LIVID
Bluey - I think it's entendres....... On your point about the "old days" on here - you're quite right. Aye lad, when I were a lad, Swansea hadn't even gone bust........
Another board meeting?? To discuss the dissident bluetits no doubt! Toe the TinTan line girls you know it makes sense!.............. please log in to view this image Should those bums be red now girls!...........
