So Todgers throws his hat in the ring Swans offer £ 3m neither accepted or rejected at this stage! Now we will see what bassini is made of!
Really? I haven't seen that one yet but not surprised. They will have to go higher - didn't I here someone mention a bid of 3.75m in from WBA? Probably a package worth that much rather than cash.
Give him his due. At least this time he has come in with an offer comparable to or slightly better than other clubs, rather than trying to get a 40-50% discount through the media.

Still don't think anything less than £4m is a fair price for the Championship top scorer. It seems the media have decided that he is a £2m-£3m player.
I cant see Danny going to the Swans, I can see that prick todgers trying to get Cowie!! He has helped us(for once) by driving up the price tag! I still think DG will end up at Newcastle or if staying down south QPR!
In todays market Max I agree £4m would be a fair price! as it stands 3 clubs interested! Newcastle yet to register any interest! £3m on the table
As mentioned, with 3 clubs already putting in bids plus the reported newcastle interest with that Carroll moneyburning a hole in their pocket, we shoudl be able to do much better than £3m. I'd certainly try for nearer £4m and maybe see what players are available to take. Maybe if Newcastle come in, take Ranger on loan for a season.
Interesting shout Kev ,wasnt Nile Ranger a bit of a bad boy though ,a bit like a mini marlon? Although if part of any deal was a player or loan player coming our way opens up more options!
It does feel a little like the start of a bidding war so hopefully they will all up their offers.... and everyone will try and offer incentives to accept theirs, so if they aren't willing to increase the monetary offer too much, it may have to be cash+player deals!!
Oh, and yes, Ranger has a reputation from a few years back - you do hope that he has grown up now though
If Swansea don't want to go out and spend, why are they going for Graham instead of Priskin? Ordinarily to mention those two in the same breath would be ridiculous. But given the way Swansea play, Tamas would be a decent fit. And while we're talking about £4-5m for Graham as a final sum, Ipswich would probably give him away to free up his wages for another striker/give Connor Wickham a pay rise.
No deal. I am never one for overvaluing a player. Invariably, I read transfer speculation and think that the writer has been smoking something funny, and when I saw how much Liverpool paid for Carroll I was astonished. But in Graham's case, I genuinely can't see why he's worth a penny less than £5m. Mackail-Smith and Morison are being linked with £3m+ moves, and Graham is demonstrably better than those. He outscored Morison in the same division and has more experience in league football, while Mackail-Smith has not proved himself above League One (good player though he is). Finally, I would like to see Graham go to a club that will stay in the Premier League and I don't think Swansea will escape the drop.
Only down side OLM is that a lot of clubs have finally smelt the coffee! and are busy trimming wage bills and letting players go ,supply and demand would suggest that this should depress prices!
I hope he goes to Newcastle, for obvious reasons. But assuming they're not in the running, I don't think it makes any difference where he ends up. If he's good enough for the Premier League, you would like to think that he'll stay there. There's a reason that no-one's looking forward to (or dreading) seeing Charlie Adam or Scott Parker at the Vic next season.
