tbh i have no hopes now to sign Cesc , just let us move on for another one http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23404946
seem UTD are losing hope too and doing a final offer of 35m .. but they are pessimistic and already lined up alternatives http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892...epare-final-35m-bid-for-fabregas?ICID=HP_HN_1
http://www1.skysports.com/football/...er-united-wasting-their-time-on-cesc-fabregas Gerard Pique says Manchester United wasting their time on Cesc Fabregas
Perfectly normal for a Chelsea fan to spend so much time on a thread about Manchester Unitef bidding for a Barcelona player. Perfectly normal and does not suggest any kind of obsession.
Will UTD go for Modric now or Fallini? and on the radio it says UTD have a £100M war chest, so maybe try and get Bale (not likely to happen)
I'll believe it when there's an official announcement from someone actually connected to the deal. Thus far we've had: An interview with a non executive VP who isn't involved in the club's decision making A 'source' saying the president has written to Utd (why would he write to us when Woodward is in Barcelona for negotiations?) Gerard Pique Arsene Wenger Compare that to the Chelsea bid for Rooney, which was instantly and publicly rejected with Moyes giving several press conferences to insist Rooney wasn't for sale, and the rumours of Mata and Luiz to Utd, which were similarly instantly quashed by Chelsea. If anything, these leaks and statements by non entities make me more confident a deal may actually happen - could well be that the Barca executive are willing to sell, need the cash, and recognise that Fabregas isn't quite right for Barca, and various parties are trying to derail that deal on the basis that Fabregas is 'one of ours' and thus they don't want him to leave. Obviously that's all speculation on my part, but until there's an official public 'not for sale' announcement from Barca, or an 'I want to stay' announcement from Fabregas, then there's no reason to believe he is actually not for sale. Btw, now we've made multiple bids at £25 million, and have entered into serious negotiations with Barca, I wonder if that has bypassed Arsenal's first refusal clause? After all, first refusal has already happened.
I wouldn't be surprised if they've decided to sell but need to make a big thing about how he's not for sale to appease the fans (a bit like United with Rooney). If United get to a certain figure then they can sell and tell the fans that it was too much money to turn down for a player who isn't guaranteed a starting place (a bit like United with Rooney).
United wouldn't be so persistent if he genuinely wasn't for sale. Maybe the 50% thing with Arsenal is true so they just want more money.
indeed it is , but what can you do, they may be not want to sell him and need temptation Bale himself seem to require a long distance fight too
I think we have more chance of landing him than Real .. we need him more than Real and he will be guaranteed more first team matches but my gut feeling is he is staying with Spurs ..
