QPR right-back Jose Boswinga arrives in Turkey for Trabzonspor 2013-07-23 02:47:12 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- QPR right-back Jose Boswinga has arrived in Turkey for Trabzonspor QPR right-back Jose Boswinga has arrived in Turkey and is expected to sign for Trabzonspor. Trabzonspor have reached an agreement-in-principle with the Portugal international for a two-year deal worth â¬2 million per-season. Boswinga has fallen out of favour at QPR and the Hoops manager Harry Redknapp sees no future for the 30-year-old fullback next season. The Portuguese international fullback joined QPR on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer. The Turkish Süper Lig outfit recently signed Bosingwa's former Cheslea teammate Florent Malouda on a two-year deal. Trabzonspor will have to sell three foreign players to accommodate Bosingwa if the transfer goes ahead. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) will only permit 10 foreign players per-club in the 2013-14 season and allow six foreign players on the field at any one time. Trabzonspor currently have 12 non-Turkish players on their books. The Black Sea Storm finished the league in nine position - the clubs worst finish in a decade. However, Trabzonspor qualified for the Europa League as runners-up in the Turkish Cup. Trabzonspor defeated Derry City 4-2 in the first leg of their Europa League second qualifying round last week.
I'm sure Tone would have flown him out on a private jet to make this deal happen - hopefully we're not subsidizing his wages too much. The signing of a player like this with such a lazy, bad attitude represented everything that was so wrong in our team makeup over the past year or so. How did we manage to screw up so many times?
