I think it's been an interesting thread. The rigidity in our tactics was a negative from last season. Why is identifying weaknesses from last season doom and gloom? That's exactly what Hughton, McNally and the rest of the staff at Norwich are currently doing to prepare for next season.
I think identifying areas for improvement is a very positive and constructive line of discussion. The problem is that the forum Mafia immediately leap on anyone who doesn't agree with them and start with their condescending approach as they are somehow living on a higher plane than the rest of us.
The thing is the same posters are just repeating themselves over and over again and it seems they enjoy being negative a little too much and not showing any positives at all. That was last season and it's over now. Every single NCFC supporter knows there's big improvements to be made, we're just not taking every opportunity to be negative.
To be fair it's quite enjoyable watching Beefy get humiliated by carrabuh on a regular basis and pyjamas usually disappears in between transfer windows so not too many more "itk" posts.....;-)
I think there has been some genuine debate on here. I don't think anything was proved conclusively last year either way. We stayed up with a weak squad which was objective met but played some unispired football at times. The perfect time for some debate.
And cleared all of our external debt allowing us to improve the quality of the squad in an unprecedented scale this season. Some fans are just going to be idiots about it, they couldn't see that, they just want us running around like headless chickens beating Barcelona every week. It really doesn't bother me, I am absolutely loving this era of Norwich and when it's said and done I can look back and say I had a great time following my team during the glory days. Some will just remember how miserable they were all the time. I certainly don't want that to be the enduring memory of the most successful time in our recent history, sitting around listening to coldplay with a face like Droopy
More Facebook pictures Beef? Everyone realises who struggles to explain themselves Beef, I don't stick pictures in to do the work for me.
please log in to view this image I tried to get Anthony Pilkington to stop celebrating but he won't. I don't care if he did score against Manchester United has he not seen the forward passing successful completion ratio compared to Swansea. that's what really matters. No-one understands me.
