Well thats my grading over and done with and my black belt earned. I just have to wait till September to receive it in the graduation ceremony now. You definitely earn that belt! It was exhausting! But its over now.

I hope all thos in NZ are well and the earth stops moving soon.

Well done Dan, I know how exhausting it is I used to do karate about 40 years ago! Well done on earning your name ;)

Good morning all from a hot Weston-super-Mare, I'm sat here with my door into the garden wide open and a fan on maximum speed about 12 inches from my face <steam>

Morning all from a rapidly brightening West West London - it was overcast and chilly when I left bandit country, but it is looking to set fair now. I suspect a few storms will be banging about today....
Only 1 day at corporate madness this week and then off on our jolidays on Wednesday morning...

Well done Dan - do we all have to call you sir now?

Did my 20 miles on saturday - it was a rather sobering thought to think that I only have to do that 3 times in order to complete the course in September!

Morning all from a very hot rural France. Yesterday at the restaurant we had to eat inside with fans going as the temperature nudged 40°C. Despite all of the shades outside it was impossible to sit out there. All of the windows here are open at the moment to catch the slightly cooler air, but the shutters will have to be pulled across as the sun comes round.

    Una paloma for Mexican Hornet

I can add KiwiQPR and Superthickerhoopser to the breakfast list if they would wish.

Veðurstofa says 18C today. I do not think so. Good for KA we beat Selfoss 4:3 and move to six position in the league, Ísland kvenna lost to Sweden 0:4 and fall from the EM.

Why are the Leicester City fans so upset with what we are doing, I think they had their silly money chance and messed up now when someone tries a new thing and that is working these fans do not like it. They are easy to wind up as well.

I used to go to every home game
not so much the last 2 years
probably only 5 or 6 games a season

(the quality in the a league is really poor imo
I think they would all struggle in the second division)

I go when they play in Christchurch. The match becomes a sort of pilgrimage for football fans. People turn up in the shirts of their favourite teams. Even a Leeds fan was able to indulge in a friendly chat last time I went.

You are right about the quality, though.

Superhorn could you stop playing the Leicester City fans. We know if they had a few pennies for the bus they would go and watch Forest.
