Anarchosissokolist will be victorious. I am obviously called The Tash Legion., though <ok>

My top surprise picks for this season:
Coloccini - If he stays, he is not only vital to our defence keeping down scores, but his work will not go without reward in this year's bonus system, as clearances, interceptions and tackling are all set to be rewarded to the same degree as scoring goals. At £5 million, he's a decent punt for point accumulation this year. This could be the year of the defenders.
Cabral - Class class player. A silkier Tiote in the middle of the park, comfortable in possession and vital to building attack. £4.5 million.
Bassong - Norwich are splashing the cash this year, and it's 50/50 whether they'll be good or bad, but he's a solid investment at £5 million. A consistent scorer last season in a predominantly defensive minded set-up.
Mignolet - £5.5 million for the best keeper in the league? A SNIP! Liverpool's possession based play may not play into his all-action, point-accumulating-mitts, but it could be a decent bet that when he's tested, he'll save it, and pick up easy clean-sheets a-long the way.
The potential gold-dust/costly errors this year:
Sanogo - £5 million - Had so many injuries, particularly affected by his early career leg-break. But he's a brilliant prospect if he keeps fit and could be a great player. Doubt he will start too many games to begin with.
Bony - £8 million - Could he be this year's Michu? Certainly devastating in the Dutch league, which illustrates clear potential for success, but does his pacey, direct ability really fit with Swansea's style? For anything less than £8 million I'd have had a gamble.
Schurrle - £8 million. I think he's the best priced of all the transfer newbies
    Anybody Man City have signed.

Well, the good news is that you all are guaranteed not to end up bottom. I haven't played a footie game since I played United! by post in the 80s and most of the players appear to have moved on since then.

Nobody should "end up" in the bottom!!! You're clearly doing it wrong. I work back to front so the bottom is usually my first stop ;)

Hogan's Heroes? Off Topic, but I saw them not too long ago. Excellent as ever and they do have a half decent little guitarist with them too...

The rules are very simple. Pick as many players as you can from Mackems, Hull, Palace & Cardiff (preferably their reserve /injured players) and then just leave it like that for the whole season. You'll be guaranteed to do well. <ok>

    Sound advice.
so what you're saying is pick 3 of the new numpties from down the road, 3 of the ex-numpties down the road now at Hull, add Bellamy and a couple from Palace and I should be ok for starters.
I finally found how to score the points this morning, so this should be a good start.

    Cheers
