You can't help it can you. Shall I post examples of your type of football discussion? There are plenty.

If you had just continued even without that last line I could easily let it be but instead you struggle to retain composure and let a little of the real you escape.

I've always been well able for your inane rambling and cheap shottery if I may coin my own phrase<laugh>

Now my chinese knockoff of mystic meg friend, discuss football and try not continue to pretend you are something you are not, namely a reasonable amicable fellow.<ok> Discuss away

Think I speak for all on here when I ask will you guys take this argument to the "Mouser watch" thread please?

Are we trying to compete with Arsenal and Newcastle to see who can go the longest without signing a player, must be the only 3 clubs in the PL that haven't made a "serious" signing. Lets hope for some good news this week.

  7. Again, all very excellent remarks, but what is your response to the arguments I make, regarding the football?

Do you think United will raise the £85m that Real believe it will take to pry Bale away from us? Even if United is prepared (and able) to offer that kind of money for one player, do you believe that Levy will still sell this season?

Real will not pay that sum .. they don't even want to match Arsena's and meet Suarez asking price, they will pay 40-50m max for Bale imo
I think then UTD can match that and may even offer more
will Levy sell him? May be YES, May be NO.. but if player want a move, he is not stupid to refuse the money and keep a player against his wish, he learned his lesson from Modric saga

The thing is, Bale said he couldn't play for a club any further south than Big Ben. True story.

  11. I tend to agree. If United were to offer £85m and Bale told Levy that he wanted to go to United, then he'd let him go.

However, the problem in all of this, and one that nearly all us Spurs fans have with it, is that the player has never, at any point in the past, said he wants to leave Spurs. Indeed, he has consistently made it clear that he loves it at Spurs and that he has no intention of leaving any time soon. Yet, these facts are not reported in the gutter press. Also not reported in the press are the comments of Spurs legend Cliff Jones (dubbed, in his day, the Welsh Wizard for his flair and pace on the left wing for Spurs, during the 50s and 60s), who is very close to Bale and his family, and who has consistently stated that Bale is happy at Spurs and has no intention of leaving.

None of this is reported in the gutter press by the hacks, because it doesn't sell their bloated "news" papers.

i care less about what Real president says, talk is cheap, let us see his cash
I think they need a Striker like Suarez more than another player similar to CR .. I actually think Suarez style fit Spanish football better than Bale one which fit better English type of football

I think that with United City and Chelsea all with new managers Spurs will fancy their chances of bettering last season with a few extra signings and of course keeping Bale. Selling Bale when he seems not in any urgent need to leave will just be a show of lack of any ambition and will certainly mean no top 4 slot next season no CL football and no extra lump of nice revenue to improve the team further

If only you could keep to such topics and discussion on your own fkn board. The wum nonsense you spout only serves to gain the attention you claim you don't want.<ok>

the only club who will pay him 85m is PSG or Monaco
Real will only offer something around 40-50m
Bale is not signing the extension to his contract, and i don't blame him, why accept 150k to play in UEFA cup and turn down better wages for a club that compete for best competitions .. if Levy want to keep him, let him be my guest and keep him, but i think an offer between 50-60m is enough to make Levy accept the deal at the end , but with Levy, you never knows , the guy is unpredictable, but what am sure of is your team need many players and you don't have the cash for it

    So whats stoppin the ****?

My guess is the small matter of not having that money. Infact I suspect they will need to sell a player before hand. Who could demand that sort of sum ( should be worth twice as much as Bale tbh )?

    Not a chance.

£50-60million when he does go. Less if he's in final year of contract.

  19. As I have said many times before, one man's wum is another man's banter. If you choose to view my banter as wum the best bet is for you to keep quiet and let those who want to engage in the banter with me do so.

There is always room for banter on a civilised board. The trouble is that there are too many like you who continually attempt to drag every discussion down to the level of tribalism. Try to let go of all that bollocks and have some fun once in a while. Who knows, you might even enjoy it.

Are you being serious? We've already bought Paulinho and Chadli this Summer, and we've put in a big bid for Soldado. Our problem isn't so much with buying players, it's fitting their wages into our structures. But Levy has already proven, in recent times, that he is prepared to break the ceiling in order to keep the right players. Sure, we cannot compete with the likes of Chavs or £ity, or even the Gooners, but, then again, very few teams can. But neither can anyone say that we are a shabby outfit, as we have proven time and time again that there are top players who relish the opportunity to come and play for Spurs.

Bale has been cherished at Spurs, who have worked hard to fit Bale and his family into the club and make sure they feel at home. Bale has made it absolutely clear that he is a family-man. Going to the likes of United or Real will be a completely different experience for him, and he may well have reasoned to himself that it isn't one that he wants at this particular point in his career.
