And still not a word of praise for Theo despite him probably being our best player in this game - love it!
Hmm not so sure. His range of skills is fantastic but is he mentally and emotionally prepared for the rigours of life in the EPL? Remains to be seen.
I'd say take a risk on putting him in the first team. He's currently outperforming people like Wilshere and Ramsey.
I know you did - it was one of the reasons i took it upon myself to point out some of his better moments. He got in behind repeatedly, scored, had more opportunities (crafted by his own intelligent movement) than any other player and looked the most dangerous. He also played 2 or 3 beautifukl passes whiuch went ignoredo n here even though all the creaming over zelalems passes Your blinkered like a few others by your ingrained view of Walcott despite his high level of performance. He is one of our most consistent players these days.
Maybe not to start week in week out or start at all but he could definitely be an impact sub off the bench. He is making passes that nobody in our squad seem capable of, apart from Cazorla.
He had one selfish moment and one poor ball where he didnt look up and assumed he knew where the other players where - he then went on a great run and had a shot saved, he then scored, he then set up 2-3 chances in quick succession with great little passes. He had a good game and looked morel ikely to make something happen than anyone else in the front line.
Who then has been our best player oxo? Rosicky has had a good game but no other player has dominated.
I don't think Zelalem is as ready as you lot seem to think. He is a good young player but not quite ready imo. He has looked lively today and i do think he will make it. For now i'd go for LC games and see how he does.
Zelalem has not been the best player on the pitch - he has made a few very good passes - thats it. Ramsey has been his usual hard working self and Rosicky as i said had a good game. Walcott easily did as well as these two though.
