Theo got a lot of stick about crappy final third passes when he was developing as a player - all that no football brain stuff - so he started to just bury the ball in the net instead. Everynow and then he is a bit selfish - but he is a young hungry striker so it's what you expect. Aslong as more often than not he does well when he is selfish i couldn't care less.
TBF we make accusations of our players passing into the net and squaring it too much. I am ok with someone trying to be very direct in front of goal. If he gets the same amount of goals as last season or realistically more then I am all for him being more selfish.
I'd quite like to see eisfeld, Olsson or zelalem in the second half, would be nice to see another youngster or two try and take there opportunity. Get a better idea of who might be going on loan and who might be playing in the LC. I'd leave Ryo on as well - the Japanese fans love him and its his moment, it'll be good for him.
Since when was Jack Wilshere our "star player" (Robson's words, not mine)? He was a bit ****e at times last season. Santi is our star player.
That last move just sums Theo up sometimes, excellent skill to get past defender and 3 Arsenal players to pass to yet passes to the only defender!!!!
He didnt look up before he put the ball in, he thought he knew where the players where and didnt lol. People on here asking him to pass more - pfft - let him be selfish, he does better when he is!
