Barmby may be a bit of a twat but just out of curiousity, who between Bullard and Barmby would you say had done more for the club (and cares more about the club)?

No, my man - Barmby is a professional footballer and a team-player!

Barmby has done more, obviously, but who can offer more is the real question, and that would be Bullard.

Barmby probably cares more, what with him being a City fan, but I'm a City fan and that doesn't mean I'd be any good on the pitch for them. Well that's what they said.

Bullard has the potential to offer more on the pitch but he won't. Barmby can offer a lot more through coaching the youth team and thus helping build the future of the club, (something that will be jeopardised by Bullard's wages if he stays).

I'm looking at the bigger picture you see.

Yeah so am I, but I'd rather not have Barmby around the club at all.

And sorry, but your "Bullard's wages jeopardising the club's future" line is complete bollocks, if the club can spend millions on transfers then they can afford to pay his wages.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the absence of TWFy from this thread?

    (Is "Percival" TWFy's alter-ego?)

No, it's just TWF, plain and simple. Check out the beginning of the thread. Percival is making all of TWF's old quotes. It appears he's regenerated.

    Yes!

Although I still think he's at least of the same gene structure as LoyalTigerBrian. In that incarnation he defended Tony Warner to the end despite all evidence to the contrary. This time he's named Tony Warner and defends Jimmy Bullard to the end despite all evidence to the contrary. Next one I'm expecting to be called something like 'Jimmy_Bullards_Hair' and demand that we re-sign Simon Walton citing his great contribution to getting us promoted.

Well its reaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllly annoying. Fact is whether we the loyal supporters want Jimmy at the club, it appears he don't want to be here. And honestly would you rather have a player who is only 50% committed to this club or 2 new players that could be brought in without Jimmy here who are 100% committed

How many years has he left with Hull City? He was excellent on loan last season?! - would it not be a worthwhile risk to keep him? A fit Jimmy Bullard is better playing for Hull City than against them?

Bullard does not want to put the effort in for us. However given his form at Ipswich, selling him could bite us on the bum. The best thing would be to sell him and then for his glass knees to give in again.

It's lines like the one about Barmby there which make people have a go at you. What Didsbury Tiger said is very true of the situation where Nick can enter coaching and help bring the youth players through, but the only reason you have for Nick not been here is merely due to you not liking him with no apparant reason at all. If you had a justifiable reason for your dislike, then we could empaphise with you a bit but since most of it appears down to your own petty dislike then we can't.
I think you'll find Bullard's wages are being detrimental to the clubs progress which you hark on about so often. The naiveity of the previous regime brought him in, it's hardly the fault of any of the powers that be now that he's on such a daft contract, and unfortuantely they're left to carry the can over soomething they didn't do. Jimmy's wages were made on the pretence of us having Premier League football, which we currently don't, and his contract isn't sustainable for a Championship club. Can you blame them for wanting to get rid?

Grow up you fannies, he's a City fan, he's not winding anyone up he just says what he thinks. I don't give a **** if you can't comprehend a different view now and then but this is getting ridiculous, every article is becoming a plea to OLM to get rid of him, just for saying he thinks Bullard is good, which he is.

Get the **** over him, he has as much right to the board as anyone else, just drop it now.
