    I think Tottenham do need a new striker, a top drawer one at that. If they get Soldado then maybe Valencia can keep Banega. If we have had an offer accepted for Banega but he can't agree terms with us I think he will move to another club due to his quality, we can't be the only one in for him. I would have liked him at our club but feel that Ramirez will be one of our best AMC and would not like to stifle his role by another AMC coming in.

    I am thrilled with the business we have done so far but I think a priority is a winger/forward. I am surprised that a number of clubs have not done their business early (bar Sunderland,City and Villa), and I believe we will be involved in the deadline day transfer saga for our next big signing. Thoughts?

    You post first that you see no obvious area in need for further signings.

    You then post that you can't see any improvement from last season, for the coming season, which suggests to me there IS room for improvement and the need for further signings.

    What is so difficult for you to understand there?

    Come on Fatletiss you can't wake up first thing in the morning and carry on an argument from last night. That breaks the most fundamental rule of friendship and marriage. Anyway we're blokes and we don't harbour grudges that is what women do.

    Every team brings in at least one new player during the summer transfer window. The only reason not to is lack of money, but then you'd probably be selling. No team is perfect and each season problems reveal themselves. ManU won the title and are still looking to buy.

    I hope it's rubbish.
    With all the will we wont we ? on Banega, if needs be i would drop Lambert deeper and go all out for a top striker instead of lose Lambert all together.

    I know he has little pace, but aside of his goals, his vision and link up play with another classy striker ( JRod is already here) would be emense in my book.
