Whatever the precise restrictions on squad size etc., I would still like to see some home grown players included in the match day squad, even if it's only as back-up for the first team. I don't really see how Flyer can claim the likes of Harriman, Ehmer etc are fourth choice players as if somehow they've already reached the limits of their potential. Surely a player can really only develop after gaining competitive first-team experience?
Well theyre 3rd or 4th choice at them moment and they get CC game time and play if we have injuries. We cant just throw them into the 1st team.
Back on, works smoothly now. If it goes down again there are a few other streams for it on wiziwig.org
Agreed, and still no play maker. Johnson is looking sharp though and Nedum definitley looks solid at the back.
Weve looked reasonably solid but have nothing at all up front. We dont create much and we have 2 bad forwards, we should be playing 1 up front unless Remy is fit. I dont think weve got into the final 3rd yet.
Maybe not. But eventually the time will come when due to injuries and suspensions they'll have to be dropped in at the deep end anyway. Harriman's the only one I've seen play live and I thought he acquited himself well against Liverpool.
This ref is terrible. Also, ive come to the conclusion that Id rather have Hulse play than Zamora. Park should have belted that.
Some good signs IMO. Onouha looks good, in fact we look quite good in defence. Jenas is doing good. And Hoillet does at least look interested, which is positive.
I'm having a crisis. Tour de France penultimate stage has just finished, but cricket and golf taking precedence over a pre season friendly for me. I'll look in every now and then.......does this make me a 'fan'?
The more I'm hearing about and from Mclaren the more impressed I am, hope he sticks around a bit and not just untill Arry has healed up.
