Please don't bite my head off guys as it's a genuine question and I want to know what other fans think.

Are you a little nervous with our signings up to now and our lack of ambition of signing a decent striker? Do you think we have what it takes based on our current squad to survive next season?

Kind regards,
Lewis

With a PL standard CDM and a pacy striker who can finish, I don't see why not.

Was this really posted 6 hours or so after we sign a player on loan who 6 months ago was seen as a good buy at £5M.

Hey guy!

I know it totally sucks dude - I’m as nervous as hell. My bad, I mean I’m as nervous as HULL. But serious man, I mean, we should be totally like signing some big name awesome players and that. Not like, any of these douches like Donny Graham.

If I was manager, I’d totally sign a new manager.

I think we need someone else up front or attacking midfielder but I'm quietly confident we will stay up.

Macca and Bruce jnr getting closer to the starting line up scares the **** out of me. Other than that, we've made some smart moves. We all know what we still need, but I'd love someone with that Geo x-factor in the building.

Still think we need a "real" midfield general, we really missed an Ashbee type player last season.

Im a little surprised that we havnt as yet brought in a typical bruce signing. He brought a lot of foreign, fairly unknown talent to his previous clubs and they usually went on to better things, Rodallega, Valencia, Gyan to name a few... I just hoped that he'd have scouted similar players abroad and we'd have one signed up by now. Still... early days yet..

Week 3 of the transfer window has just finished and we have signed 2 keepers (not loanees) who personally I think we would all have been delighted with if at the end of last season, we had been told their names. We have signed some good and useful players - ideally I would like Graham to be signed on a fee (so Sunderland can't recall him if he proves he can bang in the goals for us), and I am certain Bruce and Papa have other irons in the fire to reveal in the next few weeks

No, if we get relegated so ****ing what? I was worried when we were several points adrift at the bottom of the entire football league.

No, not worried. Some brilliant signings in Harper, McGregor, Davis, Figueroa and especially Graham.

If we'd been told last season we would be signing a £5m striker we would all have been turning somersaults up and down Ferensway.

And more to come, so I think Bruce (and the Allams) have done all they reasonably can to ensure survival in the first year back up.

What a ridiculous title.
Why not put your question in the title?

Th signings we have made are decent in themselves, but final judgment has to be reserved for how we end up with strikers. As it stands, we are only halfway there, as Danny Graham has a lot to prove; although I think he will prove himself a 15+ striker and Fryatt will disappoint. I totally agree about the midfield General.

I'll be honest with you mate, I was a tad worried that we weren't going to get a goal scorer in and would have to resort to cast offs from other clubs, but I'm really happy with DG and I can't wait to see who'll partner him up front next season.

I couldn't possibly predict how we're going to do next season, but I'm fully prepared for what's probably going to be a tough but enjoyable relegation battle.

Hang on, there were only 2 (I think) posters having a go at the posing of the question. That's a good ratio.
