awful game this. so many misplaced passes.... aspas is anonymous. i can't tell anything about him from this. Coutinho is extremely wasteful Toure is just standing there, again what can you tell about him there? Alberto aint too hot either. All in all downing is our wort player still
Toure has dealt with everything he's had to do well. Alberto and Coutinho have looked lively, Aspas hasn't really got in to the game. Downing is busting out the cut-back and pass for the Indonesian fans.
oh i agree. the little he's had he's done fine but the question on him is not wether he can stand there and mop up rubbish but can he really cut it at pace and he's not tested. and i agree pitch is awful and finally those Indonesians are some bunch of fans! its like a home game. I've not see n this anywhere on any prior tour.
Was gonna say that too, amazing fans! Busting out all the songs.. We won it five times, fields of Anfield road, Steven Gerrard song etc. Yeah pitch is terrible, I'm sure the temperature over there won't be helping either.
Toure's dealt with what he's had to, but he looks very flat footed, slow and immobile so far. I hope it's a fitness issue and not going to be normal. Alberto's had some good little moments, same as Coutinho. Aspas hasn't really gotten into the game yet. Downing is still ****.
The pitch is pretty awful, one reason why the passes have been all over the park. Coutinho looked a bit too quiet though, i expected more from him. Gerrard looked really sloppy and didn't do much. Lucas was almost non existent and Downing was still the worst player on the pitch. P.S I actually like the kits, I don't get all the fuss about it.
thats bascially it.. looks like a right donky but worrying looks like our biggest player cos frankly that how small a side we have. toure has been targeted for years in the prem as the guy to compete with aerially. Frankly i can't tell WTF cos he's playing nobody. will he be at it properly when the chips are odwn or is he this plodding? Question unanswered. Aspas IMO should be a right sider like kuyt was and i'll stick to that, he is anonymous here... another question unanswered. Coutinho is not great, he's misplacing too much for his ability level. Alberto yes little moment but not where anything counts. that one shot was ok but that's not the role he's in... he's got to do a little more in effective play for me so far.... a decent if unspectacular run out. the spansih henderson? We'll see. Shelvey out and him in represents 2mil investment so lets see.
the kits is just too busy, i don't care but i do think its fairly ugly. Why didn't the indonesia 11 play in white and give the fans in the ground the chance to take pictures of a red lfc kit...
