If no better offer arrives from an EPL club, they will concede and play for QPR next season. Now you could question the motivation here, but I have an analogy to share. Say I move to a new town and all of the following are recruiting for a start date that is equivalent. Poundland ASDA Tesco Sainsbury Waitrose Marks and Spencer I have six weeks to find a job and get offers from Poundland and ASDA. But I don't have to accept the offer nor start for six weeks, but the offer remains open for this period. I would see whether the others were prepared to offer me a role. The salary might not be more, but there would be more perceived kudos and possibly greater career prospects further down the line. In conclusion, I only think these three will turn out for the Rs if no one else from the EPL turns their heads in the next month or so.
Well, we're no longer in the EPL - and that makes a big difference. I could not think of an up an coming supermarket to give this a perfect context! In fact the reverse situation was part of the problem in last year's transfers in and perhaps even the same with the likes of Barton and Bothroyd the year prior.
Asda have the 2nd biggest market share after Tesco. So we're definitely not them. I would have used shops or hotels in my analogy sku, lot's more choice and variation. Plus we might be compared to one of those small boutique one's. Lol. I do get your point though, and it goes someway to explaining the situation. Nice one mate.
@danielkruck: @OldBigHead1 would of thought very much in the same boat as hooper. Possibly waiting for a prem club? @OldBigHead1: @danielkruck absolutely, like nearly all of our targets!
More like adoption. Would you prefer to go to a rich but dysfunctional family or a poorer but more loving and stable environment?
The bottom line is Hooper doesn't want to come to us, if he did he'd have signed by now. Rumour has it West Ham are in for him so that would explain the cancelled medical. To be honest we'd be better going for Austin. Parker will be the same, if a PL club wants him that's where he'll go. Townsend will be more appealing but one of the lower end PL clubs would be a more likely destination. Sadly, our club is currently seen as a 'basket case' and it may take some time to repair that perception of us...
Aisle bet he must be off his trolley, the odds are stacked against him now, he'll be left on the shelf for putting all his eggs in the one basket.
I don't have us any brand yet ... We are still boot sale with a buzz about us This stupid talk of hopper and Austin needs to answered ... Both if them aren't as good as what we have ... Lets be clear about it we have Remy I think until Xmas we have Mackie who is a lot better than that donkey hooper or that lightweight Austin We also have AJ and BZ Stop this **** as if Hooper or Austin are the answers If this squad currently doesn't take the league then its down to the manager These player I am beginning to sense are playing a bit with pride I will be ready to support them when it kicks off I am just hoping for Adel
.....are the finest market town solicitors you can find in Blandford Forum. Conveyancing, wills and simple trust funds no problem. Not a big city firm though.
He was telling us how great they were all through last season, then blamed Harry. As a team they were shyte and still are, major surgery is needed...
