I think your title is a little disrespectful too the bloke, as many have said if he wanted out in January then he could have said stuff Millwall and not sign the two year contract to mess us right up and get no money for him whatsoever.

Well we will most likely use the money to get a couple of lower league players, Benson, Hulse and Le Fondres names are bounicng around these forums. Hulse may be ok as he is proven to score before but until he starts for us (if he signs that is) then I'll be a bit sceptical about him honestly. See I thought that Billy Jones from PNE would be a good replacement for Dunney as I don't think he's upto Championship level in my opinion yet he is commited which I like.

i agreee that Dunney isnt championship level at all time, but when he is at his best i think he is. IMO i want him for another season to see if he is taking it better. lets give him to january.

Well, i know i am a bit disrespectful about stevie, but it makes me a bit dissapointed aswell. it was afterall KJ who gave him the chance in the league again, and he wouldnt have gone anywhere near the prem if it wasnt for him. so i think he owes KJ alot more than just an extra season as he wouldnt have been here if KJ hadnt bougth him.

and the money from moro i think should be used on another left back, back-up rigthback (as J.Smith are starting to get a bit out of stock ) attacking mid and two proper strikers. and let Le Fondre be one of them.

we finally got rid of Grabban,Grimes,Laird aswell. shame about Schoey though, but i think it was the best to let him finish his career on the pitch and not on the sideline as he would have done with us.

£2.5M is the last I heard today and yesterday so if its true it makes no sense to let him go for less. <grr>

Would love to know how the process for transfer offers work, either we need to let Norwich know what we want and if they ain't going to offer that then to **** off or Norwich are extremely thick and are just testing out a new fax machine.

Surely when your selling you always overstate what you would be prepared to accept likewise if your bidding you always start well under what your prepared to pay so both parties meet in the middle with a compromise price.

Surely its no different to haggling when buying things abroad in a market because that's how I see it. <ok>

This reminds me of Cahill all over again ! Why do we give in so easily, it's not as though the club are desperate for money or am I missing something ?

I know what you mean as I said before but we haven't given in yet but of course we will finally accept a price eventually assuming Moro goes in the off season which we need him too.

The club have previously stated that we now only have to sell for footballing reasons alone and not for financial reasons so if he doesn't want to play for us its best to get rid and move forward with some closure as this would be one of those footballing reasons. <ok>

lets just hope we get the maximum amount possible, cos we all know that JB will give that to KJ, who will make the team as good, or if nor better!!!. Moro aint a judus just a professional footballer doing what come naturally to about 99% of them, looking for more money.
I think in a funny way he did the club a favour by signing the contract so we could get the maximum amount for him

Morison is granted permission to speak to Norwich now and the statement says they have met our valuation. So have they finally coughed up the £3M?

Funny really, in all likely hood Norwich will get relegated next season anyway. I suppose they will offer 15k a week though so I can understand his eagerness to go.

Yeah I suppose he's (Moro) thinking financially as well as ability wise (Premier League). If he does have four or so years until he retires you can't blame him for trying to get as much money as he can until he retires or is forced to retire from injury.

Probably thinking of his family also, shame but farewell and good luck

Now who to spend the money on??

As a Norwich fan I will be very happy to get Morison. Really rate him. I guess as a professional footballer it doesn't matter to him if Norwich get relegated next season. What matters is him proving he can play in the Premiership. Then if Norwich go down he gets sold on to another Prem club and stays in Premiership. Nowadays, players don't stay with the relegated clubs anymore. If they can cut it in the Prem they get bought by other Prem clubs. Will be the same with any current Norwich player if we fail to stay up - just look what's going to happen at West Ham.

All this bidding is putting Morison's name about at a crucial time and is good publicity which should boost the price. Norwich probably want to sign him early for one reason in keeping the publicity and price down. He will be sold - just so we can buy two or three replacements that we need it's just a matter of when and how much. Of course, there is also the hurdle of 'personal terms' that has to be negotiated too and don't know what Moro's idea or his agent's is for his wages.
