Definitely not an improvement on Tevez or Balotelli. Very odd signing but it seems that is the level City have to aim for due to FFP.
They seem to have brought in plenty of quality though with Negredo coming in too. We have an under 20's frenchman on a free. Great to see what £70m can do!
Sanogo looks to be a quality player... maybe even as promising as someone like Lukaku. Nevertheless, he's a young, inexperienced, untested, French player on a free transfer. Not exactly someone to propel us into a title-challenging position. Right now, Spurs have strengthened more, which is really worrying considering the league positions last season.
Man City coming in for a 5th player........ Manchester City's ambitious summer transfer spending spree shows no sign of stopping after they bid £25.8m for Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, according to the Independent. FFP, what FFP? Their spending will tip them well over the £100m mark, and this is the team that won nothing last season. WTF!
Hahahaha you've got to love that expression and the only way to answer that question. Sad thing is they don't know how much of a hole Fergie going will be. The squad they have is good, but not the best out of the top 3 teams. Man City tops it (that without the new players they brought in, definately even more now) with Chelsea second. If Chelsea add a striker then they would look even more formidable.
City offloaded Balotelli and Tevez who's combined wages must have been huge and a few bob from the transfers also. With the new guy it's 90m minus wage savings and transfer fees recouped.
Well we have spent £20mil on 3 players thus far and are Rooney (£28mil) and maybe De Rossi (£10mil) away from our team... That ain't £100mil!
