Bale would be nice but rather a midfielder first and foremost.

If we get a midfielder I would even say we dont need Bale and would still be the best team in the league.

Both a midfielder and Bale would be very nice though.

If it was me I would make Bale the number 1 priority, I know we are lacking more in the centre mid but I think he would make a bigger overall impact to our season over Fabregas or anyone of similar quality.

  4. First it's Fryers coming to us, and now Rooney's off to Chelsea - and I'm not even going to mention the fact that Bale chose to come to us from Saints rather than to you (and that was when you had Fergie in charge ffs!) - things are beginning to look a bit desperate for you guys, at the moment.

Do you worry that now that you have Moyes in charge United will become a supply club for the likes of £ity, Chelsea, and Spurs?

Got to admit, Fryers has been outstanding for Spurs.

Ill take a bite, not because I'm fat, but because I'm hungry.

Rooney hasn't gone to Chelsea, and I don't think he will. NOF covered Fryers, and as for Bale, he went to a club he thought he could actually play in the first team at. He would have been second choice at best at LB, with little to no opportunities. Whose to say he would have turned out to the same player he is now seeing as he wouldn't have been given the same amount of time as he was at spurs.

Anyways, the last couple of players we've sold to other top teams include the stellar likes of Veron and Silvestre.

To be fair to Bale, he knows he made the right choice. At Spurs he's won a couple of individual awards. At United he would have been fobbed off with four league titles and a European Cup.

a desperate club is the one who offer more wages for a young player like Fryers more than he deserve
and regarding bale, as far as i know UTD only opened talks but not offered any money , so it was not bale choice but Saints .. so get your facts right here..
as far as i know , we took your best 2 players : Carrick and Berb and Fryers gone the other way
now just tell me who is the feeder club here?

  10. You make some very strong points.

Of course, I must accept that, in the past, we have found it very difficult when, on the odd occasion (though, to be fair, it didn't happen that often), Levy would let you buy one of our players.

The question, however, that I am trying to get across is about the here and now. Surely, with Moyes in charge the fear among sensible United fans must be that you will become a feeder club for us and the other big boys? Certainly, I cannot see you being able to pull the kind of tapping-up stunts that Fergie used to get away with, not under Moyes. Then again, I can imagine that he might want to get his revenge on us for overlooking him for AVB. He can't have been happy about that.

well we tried to buy your players in a few occasions bcz simply you didn't have the special players UTD needed
remember when we bought carrick and Berb, you were still in 5th or 6th positions .. that never changed since, although the team is better now i admit , and more consistent and much closer to CL 4th position, but overall nothing major has been changed to change the equation of who feed whom
now regarding Levy, he is a smart man who know how to do business, and i think at the right price he will sell
Regarding Moyes, well may be he was gutted for not getting the spurs job, but given he landed the more prestigious UTD job, I think he proven a point allready and thus don't need to search some silly revenge, every Club want Bale, so it is just natural we will try to land him too .

Did Spurs choose AVB over Moyes? I don't think they did but if so AVB either underachieved or Moyes overachieved. Spurs' superior squad and spending power took them to a massive 6 points and 1 place above Everton and they managed to get an impressive 1 point from 2 games between the two clubs. Go Spurs!

Its easy to poke fun at Arsenal , Liverpool and Chelsea fans but not such a good idea with us United fans.

Feel free to give it a go over the coming months but chances are, like many before, you'll end up sectioned.

Maybe one day someone will tell you the story of KPR or CpofL or one of the others. Poor souls.

Barcelona are already a feeder club surely, they've already lost Abidal and Thiago this summer.

  19. Oh, I have little doubt that Barca's star will fade, just as United's will. Every empire has its day. Not that either Barca or United are likely to disappear (like 'Pool, for example|), because either club is too rich for that.

However, I am convinced that, by the end of the coming season, when United has finish 3rd behind £ity (1st) and Chelsea (2nd), serious questions are going to be asked in the media, at the club, and among the fans as to why your club saw fit to put a complete non-entity in charge of the biggest club in Europe. If you get rid at that stage (ie. early), rather than string it out in an attempt for those who appointed him to save face, the damage done might well be confined to the one bad season; but if the club makes the mistake of giving Moyes more time, you could face the prospect that us and the Gooners will catch you up, and the prospect of then fighting for 4th spot will become a reality, and then I can see you going the way of 'Pool.

If you do manage to get Fabregas and keep hold of Rooney then, of course, I (and many others) will be forced to change my mind.

Whatever the outcome, there are certainly going to be some interesting times ahead.

I think we'll get Fab, Moyes has confirmed we are in talks now and suggests it will be done in 48 hours.

Also expect Rooney to stay one more years because the fact is, if we keep him it weakens Chelsea substantially as theres no strikers left <laugh>
