When you wee the professional way our club is being run and the way are players are looked after now I wonder what Jim Steele, Brian O'Neil and Mike Channon and many other past players would make of it all.
Bet when they started they thought what a load of claptrap, but they ended up having fun which was what it was all about. Enjoyed the video myself.
Was very enjoyable, well done to the club for allowing unprecedented access. The techniques the motivational speaker was using were pretty standard, I've used similar in some of my work. Not done the fire walking though, too many insurance issues.

Yes they were - on camera. The non standard bits you would not permit to be shown since that is what gives you the competitive edge! Loved the bit where Steve Davis arrived late! And I think Mayuka looks much happier these days, very much part of the team and a bit of a character too. I did not rate him when I saw in the U21 games but maybe he brings something different when he comes off the bench - chasing long balls late in the game when the defence is tiring. Time will tell. Big season for him coming up. One or two early goals (even in pre season) will do his confidence no harm at all
That Spanish guy (around 7 mins in) was obviously preparing the players celebrations for when we win the FA Cup.

The video didn't capture Nicola Cortese doing the fire walk. Apparently he just stood on the hot coals for an hour, unflinching. Rumours that a pitchfork and horns then appeared on his person, are clearly silly.
