If we were to sell to a rival, then I'd have to choose City, aren't a rival for 4th and could potentially beat Utd to the title, so would be up for a straight swap but Aguero wouldn't want to make a step down to come to us.

Ps - depends how much they rate Aguero, personally Aguero for me is worth about £35m so if it were to happen then maybe a little extra cash, £5-10m maybe?.

  3. Enlighten me, who is my favourite player and what has that players opinions got to do with Pepe?

  4. Man City are a sugar daddy club so why not take them to the cleaners if they want Suarez?

The other way of looking at it is who would we prefer? Suarez or Aguero?

If they want them, then by all means do so! But I don't think they do!

I'm not sure, Suarez had a better season just gone, but Aguero had a better season before, Aguero also has less baggage, Suarez is the more skilled player sooooo all in all, I dunno?

    Does that help? <laugh><ok>

  6. Suarez would be seen as the better player by most imo but I'd prefer Aguero; gauranteed goals from an explosive striker!

I'm not sure, had an off season this year but was mainly due to being injured. Would LOVE for us to somehow get him though, would be a very similar player to Suarez but one who gets on with it and doesn't cause **** for the club.

I'm getting myself excited and it ain't gonna happen! :(

  8. Defo won't happen, that boat sailed past us thanks the the previous regime.

Can't say I agree about them being similar TBH <laugh>

Aguero is more of a striker I suppose, less skill than Suarez but knows where the net is.

Aguero is a quality quality player, remember that 'accidental' goal he scored from practically falling down at the corner flag last season? Absolutely no way he'll come to us though this minute.

  13. Thought you was talking about a Liverpool player <doh>

Neymar's not my favourite player, I don't even rate him as highly as people think. I started mentioning him for Liverpool as a piss take and just carried on with it. Don't think any player can be rated as highly as he is within having played in Europe.

I wasn't aware he hsd the choice of joining Napoli and he joined Barca before Rafa went back to Italy. However, he would have obviously chosen Barca regardless, as will Reina if given the choice <ok>

Reina to Napoli is a very strong possibility - they're a team that look to be getting stronger and stronger, and their summer transfers so far look promising. In addition, they have the money to entice Reina so hopefully we can get a decent bid (£10m+).

Also, I believe Xavi Valero (ex LFC GK coach) is at Napoli and he is attributed to getting the best out of Reina.

    Ben Arfa or Downing?

Hatem for me, but there are better out there, and no doubt Newcastle will end up mugging us again!

Although it would be nice if we mugged them, after all we managed to get decent fees for Carroll and Shelvey.

Downing has said he's here to stay, so as we aren't getting rid, we may as well get someone a lot better in, fed up of Downing playing game in game out, he belongs in the bench.

(I'm not saying we should get Hatem, just responding to the 'rumour'. I'm sure everyone will prefer Bernard!)
