And I make no apologies You've led a sheltered life if you're getting upset about comments made on a message board poor sensitive soul .I've a long memory and some of the ****e we've endured for years from the billy big bollocks brigade could take some beating .I've not mentioned race creed or colour and I'd like to think that you were inferring that I was .If he was green from the planet Mars my comment would be no different .What has he done to be worthy of being awarded a degree ,perhaps someone's after a couple of free tickets although I hear theres plenty spare for your first game
I think we can safely say that their arses will have a nice tan. After all they must be red raw please log in to view this image
Actually you are totally wrong, we applaud what he is doing, we can't wait to see you move permanently and guess where too? He and his Malaysian friends are doing a wonderful job of making you the biggest laughing stock in the whole League system. As one of your own supporters tells it '' He has wiped out 100 years of history '' Pretty soon if you don't behave, he will wipe out the entire team......, gotta love the guy! Oh hello Mr Tan yes I'm a Cardiff supporter please log in to view this image Thank You Mr Tan, anything else you want ?
he says it all when he says that he is disappointed by some (the real fans) that they dont accept the rebranding and its upsetting the malaysian fans..
Boney, no not refering to creed or colour but you have proved my point about bigotry in your response. Believe me I am not upset about anything posted on any message board. I am open to debate and will freely discuss anything. However, the topic is VT and his award, which you have now admitted your post is based on previous abuse received. So no worries on that score but it is bigotry as I have suggested, not racism.
Taff. This is a serious question, what is it like being a supporter of a club, as no doubt you are, and a passionate one and respect for that, but a supporter with a virtual gun to your head. You do as I say or else, behave or else, don't criticise or else. Come on feller admit it's not a nice place to be in. You asked on another thread what happens if we don't win in the first 10 games. Simples, we carry on Laudrup carries on and the board and supporter support him. What happens with you are you sure Tan will stay ? and if so why ?
FFS, VT is a business man and his model for the future does not include himself as the owner. He is building a business and will float it on the market. To do this we must be relatively successful to get investors interested. So, given he has pledged 100 million I do not see him walking away. He can keep putting the threat out but that is more for the blue brigade (another debate) than serious investors. You have to look at the potential as an investor in the club. This is new to all Cardiff fans but big busines has hit the capital city and it is a new and exciting time for all Cardiff fans. Will it fall flat on its arse, who knows but I guess we can come to you for advice if it does.
However, he's a businessman, if it goes t*ts up say in the first 10 games who is likely to invest ? Of course the model for the future doesn't include him he wants a quick hit and out ! Yes, he says he will pledge money but whose and there is a huge margin between the 25 Mill he's promised and the carrot of 100 mill. (That will come from a share issue to 'friends', he has said as much already ) So in reality and unlike us, you as a supporter have NO say in the direction your team are taking OR will you be able to resist the asset stripping that is very likely on the horizon if your team fail. The likelihood is this , Sam will have his pound of flesh... results ( yours ) will see little investment and Tan will, to put it mildly butt F**k you ..... best of luck pal!
"I guess we can come to you for advice if it does". I for one can't wait, but will you have the stomach to,a) make the approach, and b) take the advice offered? If I were a Cardiff fan,I would be worried sick about the future of my Club. As pointed out above, your owner is "a business man",and being "a business man" he has only thing on his mind, and that is NOT the welfare of Cardiff City or it's followers.
Ffs & Lib, I have never disputed Tan is a business man. Like business men he will expect a return from his investment. He has put money into the club and will reap the rewards, equally he will lose money if he fails. However, if he were to leave he will not walk away with nothing and will sell at a profit. He has shown his intentions by the amount of money he has thus far invested. He has said he is disappointed in the negative response to the colour change but He also acknowledged they were a minority which he accepts he cannot please everyone. I'd be a tad pissed off if I ploughed so much in and someone complained about it especially the manner in which some have gone about it. Personally I do not like the change but their isn't a lot I can do about it from here.
We had a bully boy owner in Tom Petty -The boys on the North Bank let him know how they felt and he retreated from the Directors Box fearing a riot. They did not bend over and the rest is HISTORY!!
Both extremes there one of the most hated men (locally) , to a singer with world wide appeal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lWJXDG2i0A (no offence Pete)
