They do have first option but ultimately it's down to Fabregas and it'd be hilarious if he turned down Arsenal to go to United.

    It would wouldnt it.

Also can someone tell me what the **** Wenger actually knows about a player contracted to another club and why the hell hes stating his every move for the coming year?

I dont know whether I believe him, even about the clause as surely he wouldnt talk about it if it was real. Barcelona would of insisted he shut up.

So why is he talking about a player who is under contract at another club?

Probably doesn't give a **** given half the Barca squad were taking about Fabregas constantly for 2 years before they signed him.

Thought that but if he respected Cesc as much as is made out and they were good friends then surely he wouldnt o it as it makes Cesc's position at Barcelona uncomfortable at least.

But he's said he's staying so doesn't really make it uncomfortable. Probably the opposite.

Said hes staying for one more year which of course puts Cescs position at Barcelona at risk. If he is going in a year then why waste more time on him. they dont exactly need him, the fans dont want him overly much and Cesc isnt Tito's biggest fan ( he went back to barcelona for Pep ).

not sure why people think it is up to Cesc to decide to stay or not , he said before he is staying unless Barca want him out and want to sell him..
so it is all in Barca hand, and do they want to sell him or not? the player clearly want to stay but sure not if he is unwanted by Barca

They can't force him to move, though he probably would in such a scenario. He's hardly been a flop though and with Thiago gone I can't see it save for a silly bid.

it is a matter of honor & self respect .. Cesc already not loved among Barca fans, and if the club want to sell him, you will not expect him to insist he is not leaving, why Barca will sell him? well they need money to invest in other areas
am not saying it will definitely happening as we are way long before we reach that point... but sure it can happen

The Chav obsession with United is getting out of control. Their board is effectively a discussion forum for all things United. When they're not on there talking about United they're on here talking about United or on the Premiership board talking about, you guessed it, United!

I still fail to see why they are so interested in us, perhaps a bitter admiration. The two clubs aren't located near to each other and even during the most successful period in their history they have been trailing in our wake.

Surely they should be focussing their energy on Fulham and Spurs, although the younger Chavs probably don't realise they are their rivals!

Anyway, bling bling to all the Chavs reading this!

Am I the only one who wouldn't be bothered if Utd didn't sign Fabragas. The only player he would displace would be Cleverly.

I don't think we'll get him but would be very pleased if we did. He's a cracking player and he knows how to play in the PL.

Very good player, but not sure he is the type of midfielder Utd needs. Personally I think Utd could do with a box to box tackling type of player, a la Keane, Robson. Carrick, Cleverly and Kagawa can do the creative work. But I suppose on it would depend on what formation Moyes intends playing.

Fulham are not our rivals. But I do agree, our board is becoming quite ridiculous for it.

Fulham are your rivals due to proximity. To suggest otherwise is ludicrous.

Why do you think so many of your posters are obsessed with United? It can only be an inferiority complex.

No it's not, Fulham are not our rivals, never have been due to us being in different leagues so many times. A lot of older Chelsea fans used to actually go and watch Fulham when Chelsea weren't playing. Brentfore are very near, they're not rivals in the slightest, similarly QPR too however they like to think there is and have a burning hatred for us rather than vice versa.

To be fair it's not a many as you are going on about, only 3 people start threads and one of them is wumming. Don't see a problem with coming on here, I actually quite like the debate/banter on here which is the reason for my being here.
