Because of ******* **** Rooney. Is my guess, no room for other things. But surely it would of been on their website?
Doesn't work like that. Sky bet may have shortened the odds dramatically simply because a few fans had put bets on when the odds were previously more attractive. They are no more in the know than anyone else, they just move their odds in line with the betting activity.
I wouldnt look to much into this SkyBet stuff, i think its more down to the fact there is no point them risking it on this one, seeming as we are the only solid link
But on the email picture uploaded earlier, they said that they think it is a virtually done deal, not that they'd closed it due to a large amount of betting.
Just seen that, but still doesn't mean they "know" anything more than whats been speculated. They are just covering their backside thinking "a load of saints fans are betting on this, they must know something we don't". So its a catch22 situation in a way. Fans believe a betting site because it stops taking bets. Betting site stops taking bets because it thinks fans are going to clean up.
I'm sure that's probably right, but I wonder why sky sports haven't reported it, even just on their website. They could just say 'sky sources..' They've had a lot of stories through 'sky sources' before (remember Paul Hart?) so I would have expected them to write something on this.
Are you suggesting that Nicola placed a mill on it...thus ruining the bet for everyone else...the swine.
To be truthful, they said that because they were lead to that. Our chap actually asked why no odds available..."is it because...." It would have been interesting if he'd just asked why
Ah, well there I go. Not a clue. Thankfully, I'll never visit a bookies anyway to show off my ignorance.
