Why do people think or assume Gaston is unhappy ? I have never know him say anything or give that impression. I will be amazed if he isnt at saints next season. He is young, playing in different country and adapting. He has bought a house, not things you tend to do if planning on doing a runner at first opportunity. It amazes me people all assume he is off. He will arrive this weekend !! Fear not people !
He may not be "unhappy" here but if he's given the chance of joining Inter, I think he'd want to make it happen by fair means... and maybe foul.
Gaston always seems a happy bunny...I fully expect him to arrive for preseason and to play for us next season.
I never get this "Gaston is unhappy, doesn't look like he wants to be here" stuff that gets thrown about. I've never seen any evidence of that myself. I know what he did to get sent off against WBA was stupid, but when he came on in that game he was clearly trying to impress, was closing down every player he could and the effort levels were very high. The main reason I want him to stay is to prove the haters wrong.
think "haters" is over the top. More "slightly disappointed, but happy to be proved wrong-ers" maybe nearer the mark.
