Which Manchester United player would you most like Chelsea to sign?

RVP.. Clinical but oldish and injury prone
Rooney... Potentially in prime but has been playing since he was 17 and some baggage
Vidic.. Injury prone
Jones .... Potentially good
Hernandez... Clinical ... Great squad player

Chris Smalling is the only I'd take. A huge step up on Cahill.

 

I really don't want Rooney. Would much prefer Jovetic or a plate of cold wet fish.

I suspect that this is little more than a wum-thread designed to wind-up United supporters, but...

It's fairly obvious to anyone with enough intelligence to listen to the radio, or read a newspaper, that CFC is making a massive play to sign Rooney, and that the player is clearly unhappy at the idea of playing under Moyes; therefore, if you are going to secure the signature of any player from United it will be Rooney. United is not a club that is in the habit of losing players, especially to rival domestic teams, and then not without securing top-dollar. And unless Rooney actually puts in a transfer request, you have very little chance of securing his signature.

You've got absolutely no chance of securing the signatures of the other players named by the OP.

All that said, if you did manage to get Rooney, I think he would be a superb signing. Despite what most England fans appear to believe, Rooney is a fantastic player, and under Mourhino's guidance I believe we could see the rebirth of a super-star.

 

You didn't read the title of the thread. It says which player would you like Chelsea to sign not which player do you think we will sign. Poor attempt even by your lackluster standards.

Hardly splitting hairs they are 2 very different things. Imaging who you could sign as opposed to who are you going to sign are very very different. I'm surprised someone of your intelligence thinks differently quite frankly.

 

Kind of negates most of HIAG's point though so hardly splitting hairs. Bit like saying who would you rather sign Ronaldo or Messi. Neither is going to happen, it's just for fun and debate.
