Rooney will also need to go to a team that is competing for top honours. Barca have Neymar, Real it seems have other targets, Bayern have Lewandowski next year, the french clubs have already shelled out 105 million on 2 strikers. I'm struggling to see where he would go abroad, even if he was open to the idea...which I actually doubt. Maybe Italy, but they probably couldn't afford him anyway.
Aye thats my point, thats why I am thinking he will come to Chelsea. It is very unlikely a big Euro Club will come in for him now, given the transfers that have already taken place. Only thing that will stop him coming to Chelsea is if City renew their interest and outbid us (unlikely seeing as they are just about to sign Negredo), or Rooney has a change of heart and decides he wants to stay.
True, but then we may just decide not to let him move. For all the chat about him being disgruntled and unhappy, he was exactly the same in the 10/11 season and we still won the league and got to the CL final. If the fear is that big then we just wouldn't sell to Chelsea - there are two years left on his contract and we hold all the cards.
Depends on how it is between Rooney and Moyes. If Moyes persuades him to stay then fair enough, but if he wants to leave, I seriously cannot see Man Utd letting a £30m+ England player on 180k a week rot in their reserves the season before a World Cup.
torres is average for a player playing at top club, sure you need a better striker, last season could be his best in chelsea, but not good enough still BA as i said is a good sub if Higuain is a world class, why he is behind Benzema in picking order? in term of players with same style, I think ibrahimovic & falco are miles ahead of him class wise Rooney is a different style player to Higuain, he is a very versatile player, who work harder than Higuain, he add more dimensions to any team. regarding Gomez as you said he is a fine player, but you won't win titles with fine player upfront
So we are a top club now then?!?! Agreed re Ibra and Falcao, but they are also miles ahead of anyone else in the P.L including Rooney so not a fair comparrison really. I think Higuain is behind Benzema as that was the managers' preference. Both of similar ability IMO.
Not really. He wanted a big pay rise and got it. That isn't going to happen this time and his wanting to leave seems more 'genuine'.
It wouldn't make sense to sell to them. At the moment they are not the finished article. Without the fat scouser they won't win the title. It would only make sense if we got both Mata and another of their better players in exchange. I can only see Rooney going to PSG.
Brb closed the earlier thread. Surely they would not want another one derailed by some chav coming here just to disrupt?
Are you mentally deficient? I asked you a question, so instead of acting like a petulant twat, try answering it.
You are the mentally deficient one you ******ed racist scum. Can't you post anything without resorting to abuse?
I saw this on one of EC's usually starry eyed utter ****ing nonsense threads, from the biggest twat himself; Yet, despite the fact Manchester United have categorically said Rooney is not for sale, he DOES believe he is. Just about sums up all the on going threads on this subject. Pointless.
Just answer the question! Are you aware that PSG just spent £55m on Cavani? That suggests to me that they won't be splashing the cash on Rooney.
hhh i didn't said that.. one of your guys did when he said Moyes never beat a top club so I just decided to have fun with it regarding Higuain, I think Benzema is ahead of him bcz he is more mobile , anyway as you said, both are almost the same, but both are not world class tbh and are a risk bcz we will not know if they will fit PL style or not, but we definitely know rooney will fit PL.
