So who's up for round 2 tonight then? Carrabuh are you out there or are you too busy invading Poland!
You are older than 53 and there will be a bank machine nearby!! Didn't your Mum tell you not to tell lies!!
I just love the broad Suffolk accent on the programme! How different do we sound to those North of the border?
Interesting show on BBC1 late on. "Meet the Landlords" This old cove owned a hundred houses.Driving round in a 90's Volvo looking like one of his tenants on what an old boy I used to work with referred to as "That there socialist security"
I watched the benefits programme and I realised how lucky I am to have what I have in life. Im only in my 30's but my dad demonstrated a great work ethic when I was growing up and for me there was no other option than to work and try my best. I was told the sky's the limit and encouraged to do my best. Being on benefits is the most scariest thing to me apart from getting seriously ill. I have been made redundant twice in my younger days and both times I have managed to find work before the end of the notice period. It was great to see the plumber guy finding the value of a good days work, not just financially but emotionally. You could see his confidence growing the whole time. I don't believe the recession is the main reason for the mass unemployed, I think its a social problem mostly. I do however think that the recession is a good excuse for the people who don't have a work ethic to not try to apply themselves.
To move away a bit, there was a (I asume) French Jazz track played in the second programme, I heard it on the radio about six months ago and have not been able to find its name or who by. Does anyone know what it is?
