TF has flown team out on tour via easyjet, Could have flown them all out on a private jet for just £5,000 extra but decided to send them all on Easyjet! Haha, lavish lifestyle has come to an end, point made Tony! :D

If I owned Easyjet I'd be making a few adverts now saying that even the owners of other airlines chose us over the competition.

I flew club class last year to Dubai and Mexico as mate got me on friends and family at BA ... I have over 500 flights to and fro from France since Easy etc all started ... And I would fly with them by choice .... It's just a journey and I actually salute the bucket airlines for making it all real for everyday people

In the old days I could fly free every weekend with Ryan just paying the taxes because their website was ****e in early versions of Safari on a mac

Book your flights then press the back button and the flight costs disappeared
just leaving the taxes ... Sadly that loophole was fixed 5 years back

Still there are still ways around the intelligence even today

Direct flights to Corsica ... Easy jet

400 quid each from Gatwick when I was booking

Flew to Lyon then onto Corsica and back again via Toulouse for 125 quid for all four flights ... Don't tell anyone

Learn the hubs you will be surprised plus book using the country version of easyjet .... Reset your browser when doing this the prices will work out different.

Slowly Easyjet has become the Greyhound of Europe and when its cheaper to go abroad than it is to have a night out in London then it shows you how daft and crazy things have become in air travel . I use to live close to Beziers and travel back to the UK to work once a week . Two of my friends now do the same ... I have to again praise the buckets

QPR flying easyjet is good PR again IMO as my pilot mate told me they make good profit and sort of spells out how corrupt BA etc were all those years . I predict English trains will be more expensive than planes soon if not already?

Looks like Tony may be tougher than we thought-great message to all at the Club. I think he's been really hurt by a lot of what has happened since he took over. Good to see he's not gonna be taking any more crap from any potential Primadonna's.

Yes, fair comment mate. If the truth be known, based purely on performances, they should now be walking through the tunnel, en-route to Europe.
Anyway, hopefully with those who have been left behind, we can now prosper and work together as a team.

Nice one TF, EasyJet is the most they deserve.

Personally, I reckon they should have gone by coach.

I used to fly Ryan air and they used to let me take my 23lbs mountain bike on there for free. I always wondered why they did that.

When you're making an advert saying the owner of a rival airline has chosen you to send his team of international footballers on their preseason tour you've probably got enough good publicity from it that the reasoning behind it will be largely irrelevent.

    Nothing wrong with Ryanair.

Never flew EZ Jet - I'm sure it is just like RA.

Will bring the primadonnas, or sometime heroes(!?), of ours down to earth!

EZ Jet just might be too good for them........

Depends whether they sat in with the other passengers or with the luggage.

To be fair I haven't flown RyanAir for years, precisely because they were so ****, significantly worse than Easy Jet back then. And not actually that cheap. I understand trading off service and comfort for cash, but it seems to me that some of these carriers have gone out of their way to make the experience miserable and they are sensationally unreliable as all their aircraft are in the air at the same time - if one goes wrong iit takes forever to sort. Many of the non discount carriers aren't any better mind you. The middle and far eastern airlines significantly better than the rest when it comes to service. For reasonable cost European flights where you don't feel an object of abuse I find Monarch pretty good, and reliable.

With budget airines, I feel you get what you pay for. The thing I hate most is the scrum for the seats. Another thing that drives me crazy is how strict they are with your cabin baggage. Why be so strict? I have seen them reduce grown adults to tears by charging them 40 euros as a bag is an inch too big. They need to have some gray areas and show people a bit of respect.

If you book well in advance, you get decent fares. I am going to the away match in Leeds in a few weeks time with Ryanair for 51 euros. We went to Liverpool a few months ago to see the Everton match with Ryanair for 41 euros. I flew to London with British Airways a few weeks ago and paid 208 euros. I once flew from Dublin to Glasgow with Ryanair for 8 euro return all in. I went to see us play Kilmarnock in a pre-season friendly for 8 euro. I also flew Dublin to Porto for 12 euro return all in. When I first started going to London for matches, I regularly got flights to Gatwick for 20 euro return. I went to Manchester for 20 euro return, Newcastle for 20euro return and Bournemouth (to see us play Southampton), also for 20euro return. It is hard to argue against these fares although I feel in the last year or two, their prices have steadily increased.

I don't go out of my way to travel with Ryanair. If a decent airline costs a bit more, I will always pay the bit more. In cases where only Ryanair fly a particular route, I will reluctantly travel with them.
