Absolutely Mabon, and Dai makes the same point too!.................<ok>

By the way, I make no apology for singling out the Tory party, as they are clearly the worst of the scum, and remember this is the point, Thatcher used all the money from North Sea Oil to give tax cuts to her rich mates. Norway used their 1/2 of the money to create a massive pension fund for their population. Just shows what a bunch of short termist selfish self serving ******s the Tories are and always have been.......................<cheers>

By the way this is in answer to stid's money link of doom!...........<ok>

And the people running the country after the revolution would soon be the next target, take a look at Egypt, they got rid of Mubarak and didn't like the guy who took over and he's gone, now the military is shooting everyone who disagrees with them. The grass is not always greener mate

Communism is the other extreme, any one fancy starving to death because I don't , take a look at the countries where that regime was "popular", politics or more importantly political parties like it or not exists and what ever creed we follow the principles are normally for the betterment of the population it's when the base human instinct kicks in such as greed, envy etc then thats when the problems start.Everyone wants to better themselves but it's the ones in power who have the upper hand because the decisions they make rarely negatively affect them ,nice when they vote themselves a pay rise though. There will always be a them and us and through the passage of time there has always been unfairness it's human nature I'm afraid .

I am not really into politics in any way. But from where i stand, I find it hard to call any one party scum as in my humble opinion they are all as bad as each other.

The problem is, are there any party fit to run this country at this time. Cameron, Milliband or Clegg are all the same and power hungry and poor leaders. Dont know where i will go next time. Probably Monster Raving Loony party.

    Well said.

What pisses me off about this government isn't just that their Tory, but they don't even have the guts to admit their true intentions because they pander to populist instincts. Meanwhile, we get hung up in big arguments over the wrong things. George Osborne got castigated for eating a burger, for god sake! Politics in general in this country is a petulant mess.

The Liberals have lost my support. I was sympathetic to them leading up to the election but as a student there's no way I could vote for them again after the way they lied to us. And now when in government they do **** all and follow pointless arguments; they pursue cutting Trident like it'll solve all our problems (because unfortunately "peace and love" isn't a sound strategy for defence spending) when it'll save £2bn if we get rid of half the detterent. Just by comparison, we lose over £100bn a year to tax avoidance. It's a drop in the ocean.

Quite frankly, if we actually enforced tax laws properly the deficit would've been wiped out from day one. But Cameron has no balls and has pandered to the private sector. Meanwhile the gutless nature of the three main parties has allowed genuinely ludicrous parties to get near power. UKIP are putting our economic and diplomatic position in jeopardy, and the SNP have been dragged into Alex Salmonds deluded fantasy that will end badly in the unlikely event of independence, leaving 8 million of our citizens stuck so far down the economic ****ter that it'll make the economic conditions elsewhere in the UK look fine and dandy.

I've stopped reading newspapers now too because they spout too much cock too often. I get my news from the Beeb and publication wise I stick to Private Eye and The Economist now, because they remind you that there are sane people in politics.

That's a very good post there Cherry Jack! The lack of will by all parties to bring the companies to book who owe Billions in tax, is not difficult to understand, because all these self serving parasitical politicians, are none executive directors of the tax avoidance companies concerned! And just watch these Torrie's privatise 'Elderly Care', we are going down the USA model, and it will not be good!....................<ok>

PS: What about the £120 Billion wasted on hair brain schemes, to motivate local and central government?

How about what they don't tell you regarding the wast of tax payers money, and this goverment have the affront to levy the burden for their squandering, on the elderly, sick, disabled, and poor in society, the cowardly lot have now waged war on the most vunerable.

they have now asked the GP's to stop backing their patients about their claims if they are sick so they can force people back to non existence jobs and only pay them the bare minimum. these toffs are hypocrites of the highest order blaming welfare costs to blame for everything and are using the poor and old age and the sick as their propaganda agenda to make it look as if they are well off and better than someone working.....what utter tripe...Its about time they come clean and admit they want to privatize everything under the sun so that the private sector dont have to pay a fair wage...you will also find that a lot of these tory's are involved in the private sector with second jobs...There are to many people going without a proper meal now to not take notice and protest.....the food banks that are springing up on a daily basis should tell you the country is going down hill fast and some people are going hungry....
