If Ak is right on the people, I'd say that the answer is Lord(')s. Gooch made his best Test score of 333 at Lord's, and Archer has a seat in the House of Lords.

While we're waiting for Theo. Are any of you interested in an inter club quiz against the Hoops ? As you know Q.P.R. also have a pub quiz thread and a couple of them are open to the idea (The 2 that know about it anyway) - so it could be good for a laugh. Easy to organize on an extra thread if anyone is interested.

Glad you enjoyed it. OK, here's another...

What do Grand Fenwick and Pimlico have in common?

Hmmm...

The Duchy of Grand Fenwick was an imaginery country in the book/film The Mouse that Roared, in which there was a character called Will Buckley;

Passport to Pimlico was a film in which there was a character called Basset.

So is the common link former Watford personnel?

Declare war? Pimlico on London & Fenwick on New York?

Good enough, BB. Pimlico took on the British government, declaring itself independent; Grand Fenwick took on the US government, invading New York with a mediaeval army of archers etc?

Both lovely, amusing films with 'The Mouse that Roared' hinting at a slightly more serious undertone criticising US foreign/nuclear policy.
