Hmmmm. Moyes - Rooneys not for sale. Chelsea - Oh yeh but that Wayne Rooney chap, ooouuuffff we'd like a bit of that. You're calling us unprofessional when it was in fact Chelsea players and manager who have been speaking about a player who has **** all to do with them. You then get upset when we reveal to the world how stupid you are by publicizing your bid. Ok then
Arsenal were the ones to announce our interest. try again You'll find vry few examples of United publicly naming players they are interested in.
You want to win the CL more than the PL? Is that because your PL record has been embarrassing considering how much money Roman has thrown at the club? All managers haven't won anything at some point in their career. I'd happily wager that Moyes will win more at United than Mourinho will at Chelsea during their respective tenures. Moyes will have the advantage of being at United longer than a couple of years though. The reason Chelsea continue to be in our shadow despite the laughable amount of money Roman has wasted is because we do stability and longevity. Chelsea are about as stable as a pissed Bambi roller skating on an ice rink.
nice that you admit you are not a big club but please remind me who wanted Jose? stop kidding yourself as you said it yourself, we are the bigger club and you are not.. and that by itself self-explanatory why you end up with Jose and we snapped him..as far as i know no big club wanted him .. and pls prove me wrong and tell me which big club wanted this trouble maker who lost the plot in REAL
Quite a few league cups and a fairs cup plus a couple of league titles and a CL win. its impressive no doubt, but I reckon your owner is disappointed. The fact remains little old United have still done better, dominated the English league for the past decade, the rest of you have won as many as us combined for a total cost o £2billion. You could of chipped together and bought a great club for that. Just think what you could of won.
Aha! Arsenal: RVP ain't going anywhere. United: Hmm... we want RVP and we'll make an offer. Any similarities there? Course there are... This moral high ground you're trying to take is deteriorating by the minute! What United have done is say to everyone something which is a lie. Now tell me that isn't unprofessional!? We have mad interest in a player... Teams do that all the time ffs! Nothing new there. Yet again you've tried to shift the blame to us but failing in doing so. If we had lied about our bid, you would have released a statement by now. You haven't. We haven't lied. No players were involved in the transfer apart from Rooney. You have lied. And that is what is unprofessional.
Oh you poor fool. go find out who revealed to the world we were interested. You might be shocked to find SAF isnt a gangly french ****er with bad eyesight.
You like going in for the nibble i'll give you that. You're a big club no doubt about it. But I don't think you'll challenge for the title unless you make significant improvements on the squad. You have a new manager after having Fergie for many many years. Over the next 10 years, i think we'll win more trophies than you. With the young players we have and are bringing in... We'll be the team to beat for the next 10 years imo.
You still made your intentions know through Fergie's mind games... And that's the only thing you pick me up on out of all of that? stop fighting the losing battle pal
We never name players. Arsenal gave the game away so Fergie said there was no point denying it anymore. You can go check back through our transfers, its unlikely you will find an instance of us naming a player before the deal is done or very close to being completed. Compare us with other clubs and you start to see why United have class, at least in the market.
Nope... 10 years back I didn't know what to expect... I do now... I think we'll win the league this season as well. It will be between us and City imo... See you getting third but not challenging until the season after.
Perhaps though I think IF Fabregas was to sign we would win the title again. Doesnt have to be fab, we are one decent midfielder shy of the best team in the league imo ( not taking into account potential scouse departures ). certainly the best squad.
He said: "We want the player. Now it's up to Manchester United." Asked if it is Rooney or bust, he replied: "Yes." Mourinho added: "I think that this situation is clear - nothing is a secret any more. "The official bid is just about a certain amount of money and doesn't involve players. We made the bid and now we have nothing more to say." Moyes smacked down.
Have any of you picked up on the fact that Mourinho is putting Roman's house on a player who wasn't good enough to play as a striker for United last season? Or are you too excited at the prospect of a man you loathe moving to Chelsea?
