Or United are annoyed we are 'unsettling' one of their players so are trying a tactic to try and do the same - maybe so we back off? Or some Journos have put 2 and 2 together and made 5. Funny how it's the 2 same players that the papers were saying were going to leave a few weeks ago because apparently they are not 'jose' type players!! Have they not heard of Carvalho or Ozil?
Until Rooney puts in the official transfer request which I'm sure this opening bid was designed to do like Torres in 2011.
Ah, a statement by the club. A well known source of factual information that is never ever wrong. And yet Chelsea FC.com still has a huge number of links to news stories promoting the same rumours the club claims to be trying to suppress. The plot thickens...
As long as he's replaced with a player of similar quality, not necessarily in his position, and the squad overall is strengthened then I'd be fine. If Rooney left and Fabregas and Fellaini joined I'd be happy. If Rooney left and Mata joined I would be happy. If Rooney left and Ronaldo or Bale joined I would cum in my pants, video it, and put it on Youtube
Jesus Christ. You're talking rubbish Swarbs, it has nothing to do with being right or wrong. The club made the bid and have denied any player being involved in exchange, the club make the bid not the press. You are believing what sky and the BBC's have only 'believed' to be true.
No. A United source that was aware of the bid says Mata or Sideshow were offered. Seeing as it was flatly turned down as a joke of an offer Chelsea are now trying to avoid having two disgruntled players who are being bartered like sacks of grain after doing well last season.
Really? Who was this source? You are also talking bollocks, except with you it's a regular occurrence.
didn't everton beat Chelsea 3 times in past 4 seasons? oh yeahh forgot that you are not a big club ....my bad.. you are just an artificially pumped fake one .. my apology for the confusion
If you can show me the law where it says clubs always have to tell the truth in their press statements then I'll believe you. Utd have denied that Rooney will be sold, so why are Chelsea even making bids? Ultimately neither of us knows the facts, but I think it's naive in the extreme to blindly insist that the club has said something so it must be true.
No you're right, we are not a big club and you're the biggest club in the world. No wonder we 'only' got the best manager in Europe and you got someone who has only won a league 1 title with Preston - over 10 years ago.
I'd be more inclined to believe a public statement from the club then a 'source' or some hack journo to be frank. But then again United lied about Rooney's transfer request so I guess we can't always believe the clubs...
