I disagree with Saint, I get the cask ale thing is popular but it's just not for me. I like ales but I also like that carbonation, it doesn't have to be at the level of some "larger" but a light carbonation is essential to me. I avoid cask ales but if they have the same ale in a bottle and chilled in the fridge I'd love it. Ales like Tangelfoot and Tribute are a good example as you can get them as Cask or in a bottle with light carbonation. Matter of opinion I suppose. When it comes to beer then the Spanish are great with Mahou, Alhambra and San Miguel (as long as it's made in Spain) Estrella is also good but like Saint says it's hot in Spain so a cold beer suits and doesn't at time in this country.
