Denial Of Service - its basically when someone tries to block the resource (in this case the website) from users by saturating the site with 'hits'; ie continously sending for the resource (the site) thus stopping anyone else from using the site. If you follow Ja606 on twitter (or just search for it on twitter) you will see that site has been hit with a similar thing. It comes across to the user that the site is just not responding.
Oddy....Well the Gosden runner has the best form in the book, plus his form is at Sandown which is a bonus, he should improve a good bit from that 2nd, and I expect him to win today
Talking of Gosden, what a huge price for one of his last night, a 2 year making his debut - Hawfinch 25/1 winner....hope some of you had a piece of that. One bet today, Sir Henry's in the 3:20 @ Ling - Light Blow take the evens on offer
I did have a look at it Jumpers, as Gosden is one trainer I do follow on the flat and sometimes I will back one of his just because he trains it. However I was already on the one which Gallop had put up - looks like it went wrong pretty early in the race

Oddy, Gosden/Buick are also a combo I place a lot of faith in, but instead of a speculative couple of quid on Hawfinch I piled on Prince of Burma in the following race, another very poor show from that one, should know better I can't seem to catch Godolphin at the moment either, haven't touched any of theirs today so fully expect a couple of winners from them.....as long as it isn't Shieldmaiden, watch this space
At these big carnivals, the huge players like Coolmore and Darley always have to place under the scope. They have a squillion horses so nothing would surprise. That's how I got Blue Bunting last time out.

Afternoon Nass. Nice to see you here. It might be a sudden influx of members from 606. There were temporary problems on this site (couldn't access it) as membership rose but Mick (administrator) got them sorted and also carried out a massive upgrade in preparation for the anticipated increase in membership after 606 eventually closed. I don't know if you have noticed but on the home page if you scroll down to the bottom you will see some stats. Membership has rocketed and without the upgrade we wouldn't be here chatting. All credit to Mick for being pro-active.
