Jose hates the spanish dont forget I think we have said know because chelsea had the cheek to off Luiz as well.
Jose likes power players who follow his instructions to the letter. It's why he didn't do well at Real. Neither Luiz or Mata are Jose type players. I doubt Oscar will be a first choice for him either.
I think it will be Luiz, not Mata. Surely United would've accepted £10m + Mata. Ozil? Edit: doesn't matter I saw you put didn't do well at Real.
Damn right. I'd do a Suarez if they offered that. It essentially values Rooney at £40m in my view. I think Mata is a good as Rooney in the number 10 role, but younger, hungrier, less of an ego and less whiny. Tho' I doubt it's true - can't see Chelsea offering us their best player unless Mourinho really does have some bizarre anti-Spanish vendetta.
Jose said he will adopt more attractive football style to please the owner, so he may try to stick to type of players he don't like often to use, he will be definitely outside his comfort zone, so let us see if he will find success or not?
The only reason we might is if, as UIR said, we think we can wangle a few more quid out of you from the deal. It is a domestic deal after all, so we may well try our hardest to get as much cash from you as possible, and potentially see if any other clubs can be dragged into the bidding.
based on last season form, Mata is the better player atm but rooney is creative too and can offer more hard work .. and he is more versatile than Mata
Luiz is a defensive disaster waiting to happen .. i can see why Chelsea want to sell him .. but why UTD will want him? he will go to Barca imo
More creative but also far less direct. It all depends on the style of play you want, and to be fair Rooney is much more of a Mourinho style of player than Mata.
if it was just Luiz I would hope the club ups the asking price to 50billion or nothing for the sick insult.
Would mata enjoy manchester? He said in an interview that he couldn't play for a team if he didn't enjoy the city.
Manchester has progressed a lot over the past few years. There are supermarkets in some of the smarter areas and there's a rumour a Starbucks might open in Didsbury although I don't believe it. If he moves to Hale where a lot of footballers choose to live he can even have his milk delivered right to his front door.
