I'm not going to even pretend to know what monosodium glutamate is Kudos for fitting that with it though.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23335325 Edinson Cavani joins Paris St-Germain from Napoli for £55m Paris St-Germain have announced the signing of Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani from Napoli for a reported £55m.
It is just insane, please tell me the guys that bought PSG are not the same ones that wanted Liverpool a few years ago
Be an interesting fight between PSG & Monaco in this year's French league. Have to think which ever team don't win the title, the manager may be saying goodbye. How Monaco will ever meet FFP is beyond me though, with their average crowd of 14k
I don't see any difference in quality between Suarez and Cavani. Infact, some statistics.... Both 26 Cavani: 17 goals for Uruguay in 54 games = 0.31 goals per game. Club: 153 goals in 285 games = 0.53 goals per game. Suarez: 35 goals for Uruguay in 69 games = 0.50 goals per game. Club: 190 goals in 327 games = 0.58 goals per game. I would have said I wouldn't accept a penny less than the value which Cavani has gone for, however, looking at the statistics, Suarez is the better player. I have not included assists, but Suarez wins that by far.
Plus Cavani has done it in Italy where as a lot of Suarez's goals have come in Holland which is a much weaker league. Also Suarez scored his playing for the best team in the league, Cavani has been in a Napoli team that are 4th/5th best in the league. not that I'm saying Cavani is better, he's more of a CF who scores goals, where as Suarez is a all round better forward who offers much more than just goals. I'd take anything over £40mil for him, as long as it could all be invested in replacements.
Barrett and Bascombe have said that LFC are monitoring Bernard who has a 20m release clause. In more depressing move, Downing is set to turn down a move to West Ham.
As I said, I wouldn't want them. FSG have done exactly what I wanted to see happen; clear the debt and let the club be self-sustaining
Its not. The people who tried to buy us were DIC (Dubai International Capital) from the UAE. PSG are owned by Qatar Investment Authority (the Qatar royal family), one of the richest groups on the planet.
