As some of you well know over the last 12 months or so, the Chelsea board has become increasingly popular, to the point where activity on this board rivals that of Spurs, Arsenal and even United. Bucks and I have decided that it is necessary to appoint a 3rd mod to compensate for that and we've chosen Varier2 to be our new mod.

Any queries you have can also be passed on to Varier2 and the three of us will work to the best of our ability to ensure that this board remains a success.

Anyway, Varier2 congrats pal <applause>

A very good appointment. Can't think of anyone better.

Am I correct in thinking that when Drog and Ginger left we voted for the new mods? Or am I remembering things wrongly?
If we did vote in the past is there a particular reason it was decided not to vote on it this time?

It will be strange at first but I'm sure DL & Blue will make you feel bang at home, good luck <ok>

Votes tend to be unpredictable and can produce results those in power might disapprove of. There is no other reasonable explanation.

We did a vote last time between Varier2 and Bucks (which was very close) so we agreed it was only fair Varier2 was given first refusal. In the event he (and Blueman) said no, the intention was to do an open vote <ok>

In this case I have no doubt Varier would have been successful although since the last vote there have been some excellent posters join. They'll maybe get a chance next time round.
