BrixtonR Day - A rough idea for numbers

In order to sort out venues for September 14th I think we need to have a rough idea of numbers; obviously this is not binding in any way, everyone will be welcome regardless of replying on this thread or not and unfortunately some will be unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances.

I would expect the pre-match gathering to be the main event where we will raise a glass to celebrate the memory of Brix. As it stands Patti, Deon and Louise intend to join us and hopefully a couple more from their extended family. A pub is by far the most likely venue for this.

The post-match gathering will be for a few more drinks followed by a bite to eat. I think I'll separate this into two categories as some will be able to pop back for a quick drink or two but not have time for a meal (or want to avoid spending too long in the pub with our hardened Irish drinkers!)

I've been talking to the ticket office about the possibility of get a group of seat together. Obviously this will be of no interest to the season ticket holders, but may be an option others like. There is NO GUARANTEE that this will be possible, but they'd like an indication of numbers.

I'm hoping that a poll that lets you vote more than once will do the maths for me, but I've never tried one of these before. Hopefully common sense will prevail should I muck this up....

Just realised that this could get confusing, so I have done the poll twice, once for me and once for Will. If there is a group ticket then I would want one for me and a Junior for Will (both members).

Roller I'm likely to be doing a day trip so will only be there for the befores and the match as i will have to get back to either Heathrow or Gatwick for flight home.

I'm intending to come with two of the boys. Post match drinks/food will mean we'll have to stay in London so the sooner I know what's happening the better then I can arrange accommodation.

I may have a group of 3-5 people coming along to the drinks bit.

 

I've gone for pre match toast and group ticket, if possible a ticket for my wife too please but it all depends on my work rosta for september which I wont know until august 15th at the earliest. Sorry for not being definate sooner.

 

I'll do my best Roller, may even get the train down so I can join the evening festivities. Reckon my Will should be playing rugby though.
