I've long since learned to ignore pre-season scores. Coaches use them to evaluate and experiment and, hopefully, use the gained knowledge to improve the performance of the team throughout the coming season proper. Having said that, I think the result was **** and the coach/manger should be crucified.
Hmmmm, the first half players were nearer what we would call first team players, and the second a few trialists,however we were even outplayed in the opening half to, but lomas says he's still wanting to bring in 2 or 3 more players so still interesting to see who's yet to come in, our other signing lee martins got a knee injury and out for up to 10 days !!.
ROAR i listened to the game and Brentford were on top the whole game no excuses from me m8 they made as many substitutes as us so when we were playing our second and third stringers so were they They beat us in all departments, M8 "in Lomas i trust"
Friendlies are what they say on the the tin, so nothing to worry about, however i think Brentford could be a good bet for League 1
Friendlies mean nothing - absolutely no predictor of what will happen. As SL says he needs to protect the players (this is where it all went wrong for Batt a few seasons back v Wimbledon in a friendly) and have a look at everyone. I'm not doing any judging till 10 or 12 games in - or by October - whatever is sooner. Also - I've not had a holiday yet - so the season hasn't started
Steve - I think Mighty might end up with teething problems with all his gnashing pre-season if he carries on like this... Do they have enmergency dentists in Pizza, Mighty? Or do they all wander around, gummy, chummy????

If you fail to score, you can always use the excuse that brb had parked his caravan in front of the goal.
