I have become quite paranoid about the possibility of a terrorist attack on London.

I keep reading in newspapers that the possibility of an attack in the near future is "highly likely". I've read that they may choose a soft target like a train, or attempt a Mumbai style attack with guns.

Now, every train journey I make, I keep waiting for it to blow up. It's driving me crazy. It took me ages to stop thinking this way after the 2005 Tube bombings. I caught a overground train from Liverpool Street to Stanstead Airport that morning, just minutes after the Liverpool Street underground bomb.

I know it's a huge city with hundreds of trains arriving and departing every day, but I still can't stop thinking about it.

Any words of wisdom to put my paranoid mind at rest??

That's what I thought Nev. It's easy for me to avoid the tube. But the newspaper story mentioned an actual overground train as a soft target.
I have to go back and forth to work every day on the train.

There's about 8 million muslims live in Britain. Why do they want to blow it up?? ****ing Ragheads.

Must admit I don't envy you living in London , but who's to say that the next (if any ) attack will be there. I'm sure there will be a ****ing lot of covert security stuff on public transport in the big cities all the same.

After 2005, if there was a Hamilton with a rucksack on my bus, I sometimes got off and walked the rest of the way to work.
