I thought "Sum Ting Wong" was quite funny and don't apologise for saying so. That said, I actually think it's bad taste because people died, but can't be doing with all this PC crap. It's a bloody disease - and an insidious one too. Shame you lot are so bloody touchy lately. But it's more of a shame that you didn't apply those standards when guffawing along with the odious John Hughs when he (and others here) refer to us as 'Gyppos' and 'Peg Sellers'. I suppose that's OK. Talk about double standards.
I know this is dark territory but, I don't see the harm in playfully adapting a name, so long as it isn't meant to be racist or demeaning. Someone will be offended no matter what you say these days.

John does not represent all Cardiff fans or this board anymore than Dai does all Jacks. The petty point scoring ruins what could be a great forum with all the brilliant fans/posters involved. When there's something to take the piss about I'll be happy to wade into the Swansea fans and I'll take it back when we get the odd hammering next season. I can't stand seeing the same old **** being recycled over and over and I wonder about the mentallity of the people who do it. You'll never see me on the Banter thread or the Swansea board because of the fact it's almost impossible to keep a football thread on any sort of topic if our club is involved. The childish nature of the 'joke thread' was like something from Primary school. Can't wait for the banter and conversations with fans we haven't ever had the chance to chat league football with before pity that the majority of input we've had from Swansea posters has been inane wumming. I hope that when we've got actual football to talk about it'll get better but I expect it to get much worse tbh.
Dreyfus, mods are not here to police private messages, if you have a complaint about a private message I suggest you mail the super-mod as he is the only one able to act on it. Copy and paste what you like makes no odds to me but I have seen some of the crap you have spouted on the message boards so it could have been prompted by your comments on a thread. I am not condoning any racist comments but different folk have ways of expressing themselves. Plus if we do not see something how can we comment or act?
