Ayre thinks Suarez will still have the fans support if he stays.

<peacedove> Suarez has spoilt it for himself, he is like a spoilt child, I do not know if the support would be total as before. He let the club and supporters down by betraying their trust. He messed up on two occasions yet he had support of club and fans: that one on its own should command loyalty from him. If he stays, he cannot afford to put a foot wrong again otherwise he makes club and supporters stupid.<ok>

I'd support him but not with the same passion, with that said I'll probably be eating my words if he scores an injury-time winner against Man Utd.

I'd be glad we kept our best player but I think as Frank alluded too, all the off the ball incidents, the childish moments type of stuff he doesn't get any more chances.

He's had too many chances already and he's now rubbishing the club.

This, stay and behave or goodbye in exchange for a wad of money or a very good player and a smaller wad of money, either way, I ain't fussed!

Not for me. I would get rid of him as soon as we get a decent offer, the way he has treated the club is totally unforgivable, we don't need horrible little ****s like that at the club no matter how good they are.

  11. Owen was (is) of similar age to me too but Fowler was and continues to be my number one forward, always will be. I was never the biggest fan of Owen, even when he was banging them in for fun for us.

I idolised Rob Jones more than Fowler as a youngster though as I played RB and he was phenomenal <ok>

It was Macca for me, so gutted when he went to madrid but could understand why.

  13. Loved Macca too. you can add Redknapp, Barnes, Rush, Berger, etc to that list too. I just loved the Roy Evans era <ok>

For me it depends on what you mean by support, if he stays and scores would i cheer? of course i would because my team has scored. Would i stand and sing his name, no chance. Ideally he will **** off to Madrid for a truly ridiculous amount of money plus a player. At the minute my ex wife is held in higher esteem than Mr Suarez.

Of course he'll have support. Fans are fickle, us included. Let's be honest, after the Ivanovich incident, none of us should have supported him as it's not a one off moment of madness, however he's an awesome footballer and makes us all happy when he performs well and scores goals.

If he puts this behind him, stays and scored 20+ goals and helps us into the Champ League, not one Liverpool fan will say I wish we had sold him and finished 5th instead.

    True.

I've been saying for a few days now '**** him off, grab some cash and move on' etc but truth be told: if it genuinely came down to my decision whether he stays or goes I'd keep him!!

How many times does the lad have to piss all over the club and the fans, until you think **** him off.

Ivanovich just said he has no problem being in the same team as Suarez.
