I don't think we will sign a central midfielder this summer

Nohlman? I think I said we need a new midfielder but I said I doubt we will get one.

 

Signing no CM is better than signing Rodwell.

 

rooney is our attacking midfielder.ppl need to understand that saf doesnt like his cm to have to much freedom.he also likes his midfielders to defend as well as attack,but stay on more of the defensive side.so when rooney plays he will play as both a striker and attacking midfielder.he is the only player in our team who seems to have the freedom to do what he wants.and that stops our cm from getting forward more often.rooney started only one of the games anderson scored his 4 goals in.

Your probably right that we won't sign a cental midfielder but I believe we should sign one, De Rossi would be perfect.

 

ive just checked and discovered that anderson was our top scoring cm this season,eventhough he started alot less games than carrick and fletcher.bit suprised.

 

yeh we should sign one because of pauls retirement.but will the cm be an out an out attacking midfielder tho.and if he is,rooneys role in the team may change.

 

If thats true shows just how badly we need new blood in the CM.

Except you are either ignoring the fact or simply don't know that Verane can play DM and Ashley Young can also play in the centre as well as on the wings.
