No, I am by no means an ITK type person, but someone I know is a gardener and has just started doing lots of work in Gastons home, he is very happy here and looking forward to next season ! Yes I know things change and he obviously isnt going to say "yes I am off hopefully" but I tend to believe him. I think will be a big season for him this year. With better players around him and a confident start by the team he will excel. People forget when he came in the team were struggling, then he had that nasty injury after a decent start and couldnt quite get going again. A decent pre season will be beneficial. When is he joining up with the squad ?
Nail on head. He and Schneiderlin have set thenew level for the team but like Schneiderlin, he has taken a while to adapt. With Wanyama and Lovren too, we will see more from the likes of Lallana and Rodriguez too. With Shaw and Clyne ever improving things look really bright. Banega would be the icing on the cake. Incidentally I mentioned before my fears that the influx would restrict our youth. But has anyone noticed JWP in the pre season pictures? Looks to have bulked up a bit and I think we will see him emerge this year as a big player in the squad if not the first 11.
