Every time I do a mock up of the projected team, I can't find a place for the lad. He's a decent player, but not one we really need, I can see Alfie growing into a beast this season, then there's Giacc, Jack, Cabral, Catts, Sess, Seb, and probably 37 more the way it's gone.

If he comes, great, if not, not ****ed.

Aye, lost in the excitement of the new signings is the fact that Alfie was a shining light last 5 or 6, after looking like the 'new Whitley' for a worrying few games.

Can;t argue - no big thing - watched him last season and looked a shadow of the player he was previously. If he comes great - if not then not really bothered

 

He'd hobble into the first team on crutches. . Really wasn't too fussed about this one. He is undoubtedly a very good player and his ability to pick a pass and deliver it is something a little special but he's injury record is terrible. We have good cover at centre mid and I think alfie and cabral are set to be a first choice pairing. Both have the ability to play with ball at feet and get forward but equally both beasts in the tackle. A full pre season with pdc should see us have one of the fittest teams in the league too. The asia cup should show who pdc favours where.

i think amongst the others in midfield he would be pedestrian in comparison , on his day a good player as is anybody (johnson) , but in that central role you need to be on top of your game all the time and fit for use , not a great fan as you can tell
